This is my 2nd time eating here and 2nd time in Honolulu. Delicious both times and both times live music. Oceanfront on 2nd floor of the twin fin hotel. Cute tiki decor. Good for families too. Calm and casual with nice island feel and decent prices.

We had a long and relaxing meal here – with lovely sunset views. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, especially because I expected touristy food. Great find! We started with the Kahlua Pig Quesadilla ($15) – Hearty and recommended. I had the Lamb Shank & Shrimp with Gnocchi ($37). An interesting and tasty combination of flavors. Big enough for 2. Taro Buns served as bread for the table – Soft and dough-y. I heard the Mai Tai’s were very good, but disappointed to see that they are only sold in a souvenir Tiki mug for $16. I don’t need this souvenir mug, and wanted to order just the drink, but they don’t offer that option. I was pleased that the waiter comped a drink for my birthday. He mentioned that he usually brings a complimentary birthday dessert, but we were stuffed, so he took a drink off the bill instead to say Happy Birthday. Nice touch! TIP: Highly recommend making a reservation, even for Happy Hours. Some outdoor tables have excellent sweeping ocean views, but many tables are inside (with no view). COST: $108 + tip for 2 people (1 appetizer, 2 entrees & 3 alcoholic drinks).

The hostess “lost” our reservation, so we waited too long for the quality of food that came. Service was slow in coming when we were seated, and neither my husband nor myself finished our food. The prime rib and bbq pork sandwich were both soggy without any wow factor to redeem them. The atmosphere and location were wonderful.

We had booked this party in October 2019 buying the VIP Package, we were looking forward so much to the party to Tiki on Waikiki beach. The restaurant give us a table VIP for 9.45pm on the 31st. It was the worst New Year party we have been, the party was divided in two areas dining or bar, all the fun was in the bar in the dining area was dead, it felt like normal dinner. The restaurant was trying to provide sophisticated food but it was not enough in the plate, it was better to have traditional local dishes, because we started dining at 9.45pm the dishes were rushed, we finished to eat the dessert at 11.50pm. The only positive experience was our waiter he was very good and nice.

Nothing special here. It is typical poolside fare- we had the edamame appetizer, coconut shrimp appetizer, poke appetizer and the pulled pork quesadilla- dressed up to make it look fancy for a dinner out and charge dinner prices. We ate here our first night in town at the recommendation of the concierge at our nearby hotel. Service was good, but despite having a dinner reservation we still had to wait 15 minutes while the walk-in folk were able to « grab a table by the pool » right away. Portions were generous, waiter was attentive, bill was pricey ($100). Don’t order the margarita, much cheaper to order a lemonade. Left 3/4 of it and the waiter didn’t even ask why. Also, not sure whether this was a COVID precaution or typical of them but you need your smart phone to scan the QR code on the table to see the menu. Really.

We wanted something with an island vibe for our last night in Waikiki, and thought this might fit the bill. While the scene was fun, we found the music to be a bit loud for our liking and the service to be slow and unresponsive. We had just about given up hope after waiting for what seemed like ages. However, the food, when it finally arrived, was of decent enough quality to redeem the experience for us. Overall, we'd probably try something different the next time we're in the market for this type of meal in the area.

First the hostess crossed our names off the wait list for no reason! Finally after an hour for a 30 min wait we checked and she just said oh I guess I can take you now. After we sat down and waited 25 minutes the waiter finally came, we figured the hostess just didn't tell him we were seated. His name was Kai and he was the only reason we didn't walk out, he was nice and friendly. The food was terrible, got the ribs and it was basically all fat, could barely eat any of it. The live music was so loud and honestly not sure if it was singing or just screaming! You couldn't talk or hear the waiter over it. We waited for 35 minutes to get our check, had to ask someone to send the waiter over to get our check. Absolutely terrible, go to to McDonald's probably better than this place!

We ordered steak medium well, as the lighting is so low, we could not see that the steaks were very rare. After the first taste, we moved the small table lamp closer to have a look, we then saw that only one side of the steak had been seared. The mash potato came with far too much garlic, with the zuchinni being overcooked . Great position to watch the sunset, is the best thing about this place.

Our two week Hawaiian escape ended in Waikiki so we could visit Pearl Harbor. Our lunch at Tiki's prior to flying home was perfect....casual atmosphere, spectacular setting overlooking Waikiki beach, and superb food. The mango mojito with signature muddled mint is so refreshing and cool. My wife enjoyed coconut shrimp while I relished the seared Ahi salad. Both were perfectly prepared and presented. Our service was great, the menu offered wonderful choices, and our experience was a memorable end to a lovely time.

Awesome food!!! The server said that he recommends everything on the menu (kind of rudely) and he was right. We started off with the coconut shrimp and truffle edamame. If I was to recommend one over the other it would be the edamame. It was incredible! As for the meals, the people who ordered the seafood were incredibly impressed. It’s caught that day and cooked to perfection. The stand out was the macadamia nut fish! It is a must try.

This balcony has become my favorite spot for a sunset view throughout dinner. Although the menu is a bit pricey with not many options, the food quality is great and the drinks are delicious. I recommend the "watermelon chi chi" (yes, that is the name) frozen drink! You can even get the cutest take home tiki mug. Great service as well, very friendly staff.

Although we were prepared for a good time at Tiki's, the experience was disappointing in every respect. There was absolutely no view from our reserved table at the back of the restaurant, and the noise in the dining room made conversation impossible. While the service was not entirely neglectful, it was unacceptably slow and lackluster: We had to flag the server down to ask if we might order a dessert. Most disappointing, however, was the food. No one in our party liked his dinner, and my entree had such a strange off-taste that I left more than half of it on the plate. To put it bluntly, it was the only meal during our week in Waikiki that all of us regretted.

Our family of five visited for dinner. We had made reservations about a month prior, so no issue there. We were sat just inside the doors, so while we had somewhat of a view, the biggest issue was no breeze. It was almost uncomfortably hot. Service was fantastic. I didn’t catch his name, but he was great at recommendations and guiding us through ordering for our child who has dietary restrictions. Food was ok. My husband got ribs and said they were just ok, and his mixed drink was good but weak. The rest of us enjoyed our food, but nothing was spectacular or stood out from the rest. My biggest complaint, though, is the photographer who comes to your table with a *free* keychain and then takes pictures of you at your table, then returns with a freebie pic and others to purchase. It really made the dining experience feel cheesy and even more touristy than it already was.

This place was recommended by someone we know, but either Covid or new owners has changed things. We were told this was a burger place, but burgers aren't on the menu. We asked, and they said they only had a limited menu. Make sure to make a reservation prior (possibly several days). Restaurants in Hawaii are not at full capacity, so it's nearly impossible to just walk in. I had the prime rib, and I thought it was awesome.

We had appetizers and drinks the first night we arrived. It is conveniently located right by the Aston pool. The drink menu that they hand you is really expensive and includes a souvenir mug, flip it over and the much less expensive house drinks are on the back. The food was pretty good and so was the service.
