We had lunch here. It's a big place, I guess fairly new. It's easy to find, at the corner of Staple Mills Rd (Hwy 33) and Highway 250 (Broad St). There is plenty of parking, and the traffic light there makes for easy in and...out. The restaurant is nicely decorated, they've even painted the usually ugly ceiling tiles so they look nice. Service is friendly and quick. They came with some sort of ranch dip along with the chips, as well as the usual salsa. The salsa would be the only thing I would complain about, it didn't have a lot of flavor. My husband and I each ordered the chori-pollo, him the dinner size and me the lunch portion. They both seemed to be about the same size. Both were very good. The refried beans that came with the meal were served in a little bowl made from a fried tortilla, kind of a fun idea which shows they try to make things nice. They had a nice bar area too. Definitely a place I would reccomend for those who like good Mexican food.More

Food was very average. Quesadilla was tough and stale. Sauces were bland. Tortilla chips were stale. Would not go back again! Service was excellent. Decor was nice.

We had heard about Amigo's but we always tend to eat at the same Mexican restaurants. Well a coupon ended up in my hands and thought we would give it a try, and we are glad we did. Service and food was great and the...prices very reasonable. I usually get Nacho Fajitas at these restaurants so I wondered how theirs was. I was not disappointed. Steak strips were flavorful and tender. The vegetables cooked with just the right amount of crunch left. We will go back.More

With a group of 6 we were placed in a large corner booth, right by a mirror and a spot light. Felt like interrogation time. Three of us started with beers. One bottled, two drafts. All warm. Glasses were cold, but that was of little...value. Waiter was either hearing impaired or had a limited grasp of English as the ordering process was tedious. Food arrived on the standard super hot plates, but was disappointing and bland. My chile relleno part crunchy from being undercooked. One of our party ordered a dinner salad. It arrived with no dressing. When we finally got the waiter to attend to us again (which took a while), we asked for some dressing. Answer. 'There isn't any..'??More
