This has been our favorite food since we landed in Iceland. The meat and cheese pizza is ranked as the best pizza I have ever had! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Chocolate and pizza are two of my favorite things...and they blew me away with both food groups.More

Underrated, amazing, and is a must try when in Fludir!

I’d like to shout the existence of a this place from the rooftop. Okay, at least from Fludir. This area is a bit of a dead zone for dinner. But this place is only like 10-15 min away and it’s delicious!!! When we arrived around...7:30 there was quite a long line. A couple in front of us was told ~1 hour for a table and ~25 minutes for takeout. A few tables left suddenly and we were told just a minute! We ordered the empanadas and the bbq chicken pizza. Both were delicious!!! The empanadas were very interesting. It came with this strawberry dipping sauce and there was seasoned popcorn on the plate! It felt very foodie ish. For dessert we got the chocolate cake and the hot chocolate. They seem to be known for their chocolate candy, so it seemed like a must try. They were so rich and really the presentation was beautiful. I feel like this place is so wildly underrated!!!More

Returned 3x! Drove over 2h on our last day for our last meal in Iceland.

It was so delicious, we ate here 3 times during our trip and it never disappointed. The staff was very inviting and made you feel welcomed. Would highly recommend a visit.

Good food!

The first restaurant we visited in Iceland & it didn’t disappoint! We chanced upon this while we were filling up the petrol & decided to try it since is lunch time! All dishes are good , we even bought the chocolates they were made by...them!More

Hidden gem in the countryside

This is a hidden gem in the countryside. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the food is great. We had pizza which was completely on par with the best in Reykjavik. We will definitely come back on our travels in the area.

Really nice little roadside gem

I was looking for lunch and was recommended this place and it was a really good steer. If you want a lunch time pit stop or an evening slot this place will serve the purpose. It’s not much to look at on the outside but...inside it’s very modern and well appointed. The food is very good indeed and the service is excellent. It also manufactures its own chocolate which is really good and I would recommend you try some and then you will want to buy some. Very good place indeedMore

Delicious

Incredible food

Outstanding food

A superb meal. Every dish incorporates their home made chocolate in some shape or form. I started with the scallops that had a chilli chocolate sauce, then had the Icelandic lamb (which I highly recommend) with another chocolate sauce. The sauces compliment the dishes perfectly...without being over powering. All in all an excellent meal, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the areaMore

Excellent food with delicious homemade chocolate!

Everyone at this restaurant was very friendly. A lot of the dishes were different and tasty. I especially enjoyed the homemade chocolates. I would highly recommend. I had the cheese dream pizza and lamb dumplings and loved them both.

Langoustine & Chocolates what's not to like!

Had dinner here post a trip to the Secret Lagoon. They specialise in Langoustine and in house chocolates, both of which we tried and were delicious. Highly recommend the langoustine soup and the chocolate fudge cake 🤤

Mika vaut le détour !

Dinner at Mika’s was an excellent surprise : high quality products, refined dishes and presentation, very welcoming staff… roasted langoustines are a must, the chocolate cake is just perfect ! Thank you !

Good local food Option

While there are not many local restaurant options north of Selfoss, this is a great place to get food if your travels or Airbnb is up there. They have pizza (passable, but its not NY!), and a surprisingly good chocolate dessert counter. Great for large...groups and some casual food and beers after a day of adventuring.More

Delicious food

Visited yesterday partner had reindeer cooked in red wine and white chocolate sprinkle seasonal vegetables He said the reindeer meat melts in your mouth and the vegetables grilled was very complimentary with the meat I had tomatoe basil pasta and fries it was really nice...everything is home cooked and it’s a family run business It is a must to visit for a meal or even a beerMore
