Such a yummy experience!!! The fried ribs and wings were a flavorful appetizer that you cannot miss. Then there was the catfish and grits topped with crawfish & andouille corn maque choux was an unexpected taste that I didn't know I was missing. We also had the chicken sandwich with fries with was fried to perfection.

This is a new site in the Dooky Chase restaurant group: Dooky Chase on Orleans Ave; Leah’s Kitchen at the New Orleans Airport; Dook’s at the airport; and now Chapter IV, Gravier St. This is chef Dook Chase’s place. Grandson of Leah and Edgar Chase II, diploma’d from Cordon Bleu in Paris, Dook has all of the combination of k owl edge to make his dishes fabulous! I just had the very best shrimp and grits I’ve ever tasted. Divine!

I don’t know whom is in that kitchen but she/he is working it!! Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Fish and grits was seasoned to perfection. Oyster Rocafella was great also. Wonderful hospitality

We were in town for Essence Festival and were in search of Ethnic restaurants. We found Chapter IV in business district near the Superdome. We did not go here earlier because they serve only breakfast and lunch.
I am so glad we finally made it there. It was full and only bar seating was available which was very nice seating. The bar is made of white marble. It is a very classy modern upscale restaurant. Very different than most NOLA restaurants. We had the crab rice and the seafood linguine. Both Very Very delicious!
I would highly recommend to everyone. We tried to go again on Sunday but they were closed for a private event. We will definitely return when we return to NOLA again.

Beautiful surroundings. Excellent food. Friendly service. Creole food with a twist.
Do not miss it if in New Orleans as owned by new and marvelous chef.
