As soon as you try one of Joe’s slices, you’ll get why they’re so praised. The walls are covered with pictures of famous patrons and references from Bill Murray to Kim Kardashian - all having a slice at Joe’s. The service is speedy, the pies are thin, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Pricing is affordable, a slice starts at $3. Try the white pizza, and you can’t go wrong with the pepperoni slice either!
Truly a New York staple!

Read great reviews about Joe"s Pizza so thought we would try it out!
Amazing! packed but very quick service, there is some seats and standing areas but be prepared to eat outside or on the move. we were told there would be a massive queue but we must have been lucky.
Everything in New York is overly expensive, except Joe's pizza which is 2 to 3 dollars a large slice and very filling.
seems like every celebrity has eaten there so it's worth a visit.
So many choices and toppings but simplistic and easy.
Thank YOU JOE!

This place was crowded at midnight on a Thursday night but the line moves very quickly. You can choose to eat at a standing table or take it to go. They have about 6 types of pizzas to choose from that are simple but are delicious. They toast it for you in the oven before serving which ensures you get a hot slice. Very good

I was recommended Joe's pizza by a local so I was expecting big things. It is well known in New York and due to it's location in the heart of Times Square expect this place to be very busy during peak times where the queue's can be seen outside onto the street.
Small space so expect seating to be very limited. The place is designed for you to purchase your pizza and eat it on the go out on the streets.
The sizes of the pizza are very good but the actual pizza itself was ok. The service could have been a lot better and the menu board is very small so expect to know what you're ordering otherwise the staff can be very rude and arrogant.

Visited here as it was local to our hotel and we fancied some pizza. We had seen reviews and it looked good. We weren't disappointed, there will always be a queue in this small shop, but it moves very quickly. There's a good choice of slices or full pizzas, and quick service. Not much room to sit, so you will be lucky to find a seat. The prices are reasonable if you want a cheap meal in a New York where prices are ever increasing.
Even though this branch is in times Square, locals, as well as tourist eat here so that tells you everything you need to know about this place's reputation.
A definite must visit
A.

My son and I wanted to try an authentic NYC pizza and this place was fairly close to where we were staying. We braved the weather (30 degrees) on a Saturday night at 8pm. There was a decent line (past the gift store next door) that moved at an ok space. I would say we waited about 20 mins. What I noticed was that there were a constant line of delivery guys picking up their order. But I don't think that made any difference.
Ambiance: Very small restaurant. Mostly bar seating and a few high top. I sent my son in to try to grab a seat and we got lucky. Expect others to join you at the high top.
Service: They are fairly efficient. There are ton of guys making pizza in the back. There is a cashier and then a guy taking your order and shoving your slices in the oven. They seem to have the system down pat. I would suggest knowing exactly what you want and keep the line moving.
Food: I loved the pizza. Thin thin crust. Ample cheese. My son actually preferred the pizza at the Joe's in the west village. But I found the pizza to hit the spot.

On a hotel night when not a single fricking food delivery app would work properly, we finally got Slice to do its job and we settled on Joe’s…all of a block and a half away from the hotel.
We made our order and I ran out to a quick stop for some necessities and when I got back to the room I fdound they’d already delivered it. That was about 18 minutes from order to delivery--nicely done.
Both pizzas came in at 18”, more than enough. I customized my meat pizza heavily, and it was expensive…but then again, this is pizza delivery in the heart of Times Square. Not that big of a deal, really. My pizza was exactly the way I wanted it, with all of the extras I’d asked for. Same for my partner, with extra cheez and sauce on hers. We asked for garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes, and all of those came in two each little cups—lots of that for sprinkling.
There was so much pizza, we both had it for breakfast on the next two mornings. I was actually disappointed I didn’t have some cold Joe’s pizza for breakfast on the third day.
Bottom Line: fast and accurate pizza delivery in the heart of Times Square. Definitely would order again, or stop in for a slice.

We waited for our pizza to come and it was over 15 minutes than the longest estimated time from Grubhub. I called the pizzeria and was told that it was already delivered. I went downstairs to the hotel lobby and there it was. The delivery person never called or texted me to let me know the food has arrived. It was sitting there and by the time we got it, it was all cold.
We were all hungry so ate it as is and heard good reviews about Joe's Pizza. As good as it was cold, it probably would have tasted even better if it was nice and hot.
Hopefully we can try this again in the future when it's actually hot. The pizza was still good in the end but for the price that we paid, we definitely expected something better.

Not wanting to go out after a long transatlantic flight my wife and I thought ordering a pizza for delivery to our hotel room would be fun. We'd heard a lot about Joe's and were excited to see that they delivered. We ordered a large, supreme like pie and waited to see just how good it would be.
The delivery arrived promptly; our first pleasant surprise. The driver was courteous, we had paid on line so I snagged the pie in the hotel lobby and excitedly went upstairs to our room. That's where the problem began. Like pizza everywhere that I've experienced, the brief trip in a box and in an insulated container had left the pie crust soggy...not wet...you know what I mean. Same thing can happen with chicken wings or any delivery.
To the eye, and before the first bite, the pie was amazing. The taste was good. Cheese was very good and the toppings ample. Unfortunately all of these things on a soggy crust don't make for a good pie.
To be fair, I think the pie had great potential and next time we're in the Gotham city we're going to the source and getting a slice hot out of the oven.

Four of us grabbed pizza slices at Joe’s Pizza, 1435 Broadway Ave. You could get a whole pizza or individual slices. Someone told us we gad to go there because it was the best pizza and they were not wrong! Best we all have ever had!!! A few standard options but enough variety for everyone. Regular and Deep Dish. Definitely worth it to go there. Sitting is limited. We took it to go and found a bench . Truly the most delicious pizza we all had. 20/10 recommendation!!!!

You hear about famous places to eat at during your life and our daughter told us about Joes Pizza. So on are recent trip to NYC all three of us followed the crowd and queued at this small but extremely busy pizza shop. And while its not the most glamarous eatery in town you can not deny the pizza they serve is totally fantastic and the constant queues at the place bear testimony to world famous pizza they serve...A couple of slices is plenty and you have a choice of several flavours to choice from each huge slice costs between 3 and 4 dollars...A must visit if you go to NYC

Iconic NY pie. Had the supreme (all-dressed) flavour. Waited in line at 6:45 on a Friday night, with the line reaching out the door and all the way to the street corner. Wait took about 45 minutes. Last time I went during non-peak meal hours (2pm) and the wait was much faster (15 min).
It's worth the wait if you're not standing out in the rain/snow/very cold weather, and can enjoy a whole fresh pie right away, or fairly soon. Our hotel at the Margaritaville Resort Times Square was just around the corner, so it was nice to take it back and eat it in bed. For onsite eating they have very limited seating inside, but the atmosphere is like a zoo since 75% of the indoor space is for the giant line of customers. They also have a small wood hut structure set up outside in front of the shop where you can take your pizza to eat, if you're okay with standing up and wolfing it down. If you're looking for a sit down dining experience, this isn't the place.

I stopped by the location as I was walking Times Square. They reheat the pizza after you order it so it's crispy and fresh, but the cheese is artificial (you can tell by how drippy the cheese isn't). A little pricy for the quality and very busy. I've heard the Carmine St location is better. I got a slice of cheese and one of pepperoni, both huge. It was great for a speedy treat, but if I go back I'll try some other places.

Happened upon Joe's while looking for supper. Was crowded so I was worried it would take forever to get pizza. Wrong. The line moves very quickly. The slices are large, pizza is thin. Very tasty. A bonus, this place was in the Spiderman movies. Kids will get a kick out of that. There are photos of the many celebrities that have eaten at Joe's on the walls. Fun and Yummy. Not sure what else you need.

One of the must do items for this first trip to NYC was to try authentic New York pizza. My daughter and I were walking to the subway around 11 pm on the first night of our visit and we saw this long long line out the door of a place called Joe's pizza. We found out this was a very popular place. A few nights later, I saw the line was short so I lined up to see what the big deal is all about. I got my slice and found a seat inside and sat down to eat. The pizza had a thin crispy crust which I really liked. This was so much better than the first NY pizza we had tried at Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn bridge a couple of days earlier. And they had a long line out the door too.
My wife and daughter got some pizza there later that night after coming out of a Broadway show. They too enjoyed the pizza from Joe's and it just confirmed our disappointment with Grimaldi's.

Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
