Ordered on line for pickup. Meal was not ready when we got there, the portions were small and it was cold. Sadly disappointed being fooled by earlier reviews.

Excellent, savory, and tasty food! The flavor and tenderness of the meats will be memorable. Staff was phenomenal and expedient! Will be back.
Enjoyed a very good meal with friends this evening. The wing special with the parm fries and Brunswick stew was delicious. The butcher burger also was a hit. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out.
We enjoyed lunch during a brief visit to Tupelo. I was glad I read the menu before we arrived. When you enter the restaurant, there are instructions to pick up a menu and order at the counter. When I asked where to find a menu,...I was directed to the board which lists everything on the menu, but not descriptions and prices. I had the Big Wave Poke which was a generous combination of healthy and tasty items. If you are not familiar with the menu, I suggest you check it out before you go or have it handy on your phone.More
Outstanding service! Toby and the team strive to please!!! Great food and amazing service. Loved it! What else can you ask for?
Outstanding food and a fun environment! At first I heard this was soul food and was a bit hesitant. Don’t be afraid! It’s fantastic bbq. Try the pulled pork nachos! You won’t be sorry. Love this place. We met one of the chefs earlier in...the day at the local mall and she steered us here. So glad!More
My dad had bloody chicken served to him , my pork sandwich was gross and the fries were burnt and again disgusting . So disappointed, just wasted our money here . Don’t eat here . You’ve been warned
We were driving through and needed to have lunch. We were drawn in by the name. We were pleasantly surprised with the great food. We had the fresh salad with pulled chicken, corn bread, chili, and mac and cheese. If we lived here, this would...be a place we would most definitely frequent.More
I got the regular pulled pork sandwich for $8. It was some of the best pork I’ve ever had. In addition, the employees are super friendly. Over all it was a great experience and I will have to stop by again next time I’m near...Tupelo.More
We stopped by on the way through town with our toddler. The atmosphere was great, service top notch and the food was delicious. We got the smoked wings and loaded fries to share. Definitely recommend it! 4 yr old got pulled pork and mac. He...ate everything on his plate which is saying something. Definitely recommendMore
Absolutely the best chicken wings I’ve even eaten. We were traveling through and spent the night in Tupelo. After finding the Elvis and Chief Piomingo statues, we were right by Kermit’s and decided to get carry out to eat at our hotel. Great decision. My...husband is gluten intolerant and there are many option available. The online menu doesn’t indicate so, but the cauliflower sticks are gluten free. Besides the appetizer wings, we had ribs which were tender, meaty and delicious. The sides are not the typical offerings of other restaurants. We had four different sides and each were unique and delicious. I only wish this restaurant was located in my town!More
This quirky home-grown spot has good food and THE MOST friendly staff. Our pork-shoulder sandwiches were loaded with tender meat, a bit shy on the sauce, and very tasty. I would stop here again when traveling to Memphis and past Tupelo. A bonus to Kermit’s...is that one can eat outdoors and enjoy the nice streetscape of a well maintained Memphis.More
I'm not known for making swift decisions, but one look at the menu sold me on where to have dinner while passing Tupelo. The many great options had me uncertain what to eat, but the staff was very knowledgeable and polite in guiding my choices....I had a pulled pork sandwich (pretty good), but the sides really sealed the deal. Parmesan fries were quite tasty, but the honey/goat cheese/chickpeas dish was simply exquisite! Served cold with the perfect blend and robust yet gently sweet. I'm truly shocked other restaurants haven't swiped that item for their own menus. And of course, the cornbread, can't go wrong. Thanks to the anonymous worker lady at the Friday night "Down on Main Street" music event who sent me KOK's way! I highly recommend.More
First off I HATE leaving bad reviews & I had really thought with the reviews that it was gonna be a winner.. However, We were in town for my sons wedding. We were tired & my son-in-law found this place. A total of 6 in...our party went on a Friday night & maybe only another couple when we arrived... They have a chalkboard menu with specials listed when you walk in & regular menus around it.. You go to the cash register order & they bring your food to you when its ready. On My check I got the Burnt Ends, asked for baked beans & they Do not have baked beans.. I thought all Bbq places have beans!? Then I ask for potato salad and they were out!! So I chose Parmesan Fries & Mac & Cheese. It came with cornbread. I won’t lie when I say those were the worst burnt ends Ive ever had. They were so tough!! It was almost like little cubed chewy fat back cooked pieces!! And a small amount for the $20 plate charge. The Mac & Cheese was inedible!! It reeked of garlic. The fries & cornbread was good. I also got a coke..My husband got a Burger & water. He said the Burger was good. It had a real smoky flavor. My son got the loaded Fries with the chicken on it & a water. He said it was ok. $60 some dollars!! My Son-in-law got the the Special Chicken & Pork, with Parmesan fries, cornbread & a drink. He said it was ok.. his check was over $20… My daughter got the Cauliflower bites and they were disgusting. And then when we were leaving we got a kids meal to take to my grandson that stayed at our Airbnb with my daughter, it had no drink it came with a small pork sandwich & fries (almost $10!!).. I do have to say the guy Payton working the counter & bringing our food was wonderful. He was friendly, helpful & joked around. He had a great personality. I really was hoping for more with all the reviews but not one of us 6 REALLY liked it.. Maybe the food was old, maybe they had a new cook. I don’t know?! We all joked that my son in law wasn’t allowed to pick anymore. Unfortunately, thats the only restaurant we got to eat at in Tupelo (besides Wing stop take out) in our short stay..More
This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever eaten in Tupelo. I had the tacos with a side of chili. My husband had a pork belly sandwich and fries that looked delicious. We also liked the casual atmosphere and outside dining. The whole experience...was just outstanding. Will def be back.More
