Great hamburgers (two patties in one bun) and breakfast sandwiches cooked while you wait so they are fresh and hot. Came back twice for the breakfast sandwiches after having a hamburger with pimento cheese for lunch.

Overpriced: $12+ for coffee and a "rice bowl"--- which consisted of fried rice and a fried egg -- ok, not great. The folks are friendly, but stools only (no tables), and there are better choices nearby.
Went in yesterday as I was craving a burger, got the "Man Cave", with bacon, jalapeno cheddar, and onions (which I had them "hold"), and a side of fries. Burger for $8 was a good buy. Quite a bit overcooked, but still flavorful and juicy....Fries were good, but $4 was a bit much. Service was fast and pleasantMore
A delightful place making delicious burgers and sandwiches. I visited the place around 1:30pm to takeaway their Wheelhouse burger back to the hotel to eat. It's a small eatery with maybe 12 to 14 seats around the wall and window. Patty was juicy and flavourful...and nicely seasoned. The next day I brought my husband along for breakfast and tried their Traditional sandwich with homemade sausage and Southern Belle. Both were also delicious and a perk up for the day. My husband also liked the coffee. Definitely will revisit!More
My husband and I were staying in Boston for 4 days there and had breakfast here twice (we walked there this morning and it was closed :( the traditional breakfast sandwich is unreal, so good. We always wanted to ordered two each but didn’t want...to look like gluttons lol. If you are going to boston and are in walking distance, do it! Coffee is also really good. Do us a favour and open one in Ireland!More
We stopped in for breakfast. They were out of bagels but the english muffin I had was terrific. The guys had biscuit sandwiches that they said were excellent and the last member of our party had breakfast fried rice. She said it was great and...it looked and smelled really good!More
Was visiting from out of town. Stopped by because of the great reviews from Tripadvisor. Wow! The Burgers were amazing. We had the "Boom Goes the Dynamite", "Wheelhouse" and the "Pimento Cheeseburger". All three were great and I would definitely go back.
Ate here last Wednesday. We were visiting the city and craved a burger after 5 days of seafood. These burgers are the best we've had in a while. I ate the burger with portobello mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly.
We had breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The breakfast fried rice was a creative dish. A nice little nook near all the historic places.
I finally had the time to stop by here on my way to work after tons of raving reviews from friends and coworkers, and it certainly did not disappoint. The food, ambiance and service was all fantastic. This little hole in the wall gave me...the pleasure of having the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever consumed (albeit a little too fast) and surprisingly delicious iced coffee. Service was quick but not rushed and I felt appreciated as a customer. Everything is made to order so it was a bit of a wait but had no problem with that. The NOLA sandwich was phenomenal, seriously the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had. This is a great little spot and I can’t wait to work my way through the menu and see what other delicious things they’re cooking up.More
Not really targeting the 55+ tourist crowd (which is my demographic), with music just a little too loud, no diet soda in the cooler and no tables, but offers attentive and friendly service and good food. Everything cooked to order so takes a couple minutes...but piping hot and very tasty breakfast items. My daughter had the traditional breakfast sandwich with iced coffee and loved them. My wife and I had the breakfast fried rice, served with an egg on top. Surprised by the amount of seasoning on the egg but that was the tip off. VERY SPICY dish, which I liked but was too much for my wife. We ate at the counter and noticed most of their business was local, to go. Cool place, just a couple blocks off the tourist trek, but maybe just a little too hip for us.More
All the reviews were right-both breakfast and burgers are spot on! It’s a tiny place with less than 15 seats. It’s worth a stop!
So we came for the breakfast sandwich (traditional with maple cream = yum!). And um, came back for the burger because we knew it would be good. Would have probably gone back again had it not been closed! Not the healthiest but definitely delicious and...has a lot of unique flavor combos.More
Wheelhouse is a hike from my office but I try to get there a couple times a month for lunch. My favorite burger is the Man Cave. Friendly people working there and excellent burgers!
Small place, great for people watching. Food is super flavorful and original. Quick service, easy walk from the markets and wharf.
