I had dinner there yesterday and it was a real authentic pizza, trust me. I still can't believe it. The service was super nice, by the way. I will come back everytime I feel homesick. Italian comment: bona davero, fidateve

Four of us went for dinner on a Monday evening. Not busy so we were seated right away. However, it took over 10 minutes for a server to ask if we wanted anything to start (appetizer, wine, beer). Then another 10 minutes for server to...reappear to take our order. Before ordering, we told the server we would like two checks. We asked about the kind of pasta in one dish and the server did not know! We ordered veal scaloppine (very good), chicken parmesan (very good), and a ravioli with spinach and ricotta (excellent, but not very many in the serving). The server brought our bill, and he had forgotten to do two separate checks, so we asked him again and he just split the bill down the middle. (One of the couples had a considerably more expensive bill, but since we're family we just figured the difference on our own but it was still a hassle). Overall a decent, good meal.More

We have been to Boston for the first time. Great city!!! I investigated via Tripadvisor on a good Pizzeria. Mast' came up first and with my family we agreed to check it out. The Pizza was good (Neopolitanian style of dough) but when I asked...for a pepper mill, I got an empty one. I asked for a refill and they said, they only have one (!) and they are not able to refill it. This is how they left me and when I tried to insist (the Pizza was cold by then) I got a very disappointing alternative (attached pepper pic). Cracked pepper is not soooooo diffilcult to get and for a Neapolitan certified Pizzeria I just expect that this is not an issue. I escalated this to the manager but even he said that "we are sorry, we have no cracked pepper"*. Really???More

Went for dinner. Place was not busy. Service was very slow. The pizza and Calzone were good. However, it took them a VERY long time to get the order and then to bring the food.

Fantastic Italian food. Sometimes American restaurants can make portions that are too large and smothered with cheese. This is not one of those. This is a classic Italian restaurant. Simple, well cooked food. Lovely.

Great staff, but some of them didn’t speak English (!) which we found difficult when ordering. The owner/manager was helpful though, so we managed to get approximately what we asked for… The food? We where a party of 3 and we all went out of...there with a pretty ok feeling. The pizza where good, and the Italian dish was ok too, but not excellent. Prices these days are somewhat crazy, but we found a great red wine there (2016 Amarone) for a good price.More

We were really looking forward to eating at the restaurant which is recommended by our hotel. We arrived on time for our meal and were given a table by the pizza chef which was a great start, watching an expert at work, however it went...downhill from there. We were given 3 glasses for water unfortunately there were 5 of us, we asked for more but they never arrived. We were given complimentary bread 4 slices for 5 people, again we asked for more but it never turned up. Meals chosen and 4 arrived and the fifth was about 10 minutes later. Portions were incredibly small and so everyone had virtually finished before the fifth member of the party had started. The food was actually really good, tasty and enjoyable but it’s the only restaurant where I’ve left feeling hungry ( thank goodness for a Macdonalds round the corner) I think some little changes would have changed the review- increase the portion size and improve the service because the food is actually good.More

Lovely Italian pizza here. Service was friendly although there were some minor delays due to a mix ups. We liked the pizza especially for kids.

This place was a block away from my hotel and I was in the mood for some Italian food. Inside, I can see there are two levels and there was a host at the top floor looking down and he let me know that there...were no tables available but I could have a seat at the bar. No problem. I was greeted by the bartender & a few of the waitstaff, I must mention that everyone who was working were super friendly. I was hungry and started off with the Arancini & ravioli stuffed with ricotta & Swiss chard in truffle butter. I was given a couple of pieces of what seemed like pizza dough and balsamic with olive oil. At first glance it didn’t look to appetizing but the bread was soft and was good with the dip. The arancini was hot and crispy and the center was soft and cheesy. The tomato sauce was a little underwhelming for me. The Ravioli was super good. Tasty buttery sauce went well with the filling. I ordered pizza as my main dish, the Porcini mushroom and sausage. It is a white pizza. The pizza tasted good though I should’ve asked for the pizza to be cooked a tiny bit more as the crust was too soft to hold up the toppings. Over all, it was still good. I think I’d like to come back here and try some of the other dishes. The customer service here is great & the vibe of the place seems friendly. If you’re in the area, give this place a try!More

Chitarrine Cacio E Pepe - homemade noodles with a good mix of black pepper & pecorino Romano - unfortunately the flour base in the sauce was OVERPOWERING (chalky) - the affogato (ice cream / whipped cream / espresso) was good, however (hard to mess that...up) - good atmosphere with a mix of locals and tourists I’d give a 6.2 ratingMore

I planned my wedding rehearsal dinner here 6 months in advance. They charged double the deposit fee and also tried to breach contract with additional pricing that was already negotiated in the original contract. When my family arrived 15 minutes prior to the event they...had no clue a rehearsal dinner was even taking place! I had followed up just days prior to confirm food options etc and the email was cc’d to the owner so not sure who dropped the ball there. They didn’t serve the food Buffett style as discussed and did not give us the correct food selections we agreed on in the contract. They served us cold apps and food came out scarce and sporadically. The owner could not speak up to his mistakes and when I wrote a cordial email to the planner Alison after my experience they didn’t even have the decency to respond let alone day I’m sorry. This place was completely unprepared for my event. I would never recommend using this restaurant for any important event in your life.More

Arrived Sunday night 5:45, party of 5. Waited 30mins to place order, appetizers arrived about 40 mins after that. After another 45 mins we asked about the status of our entrees (a couple pizzas) and a salad that they forgot about - and were told...that they had shut the pizza oven down and we were out of luck. No apology or recognition of incompetence.More

Had spaghetti vongole (spaghetti with clams). Fairly tasteless and 6 measly clams. Better to eat Italian at ANY restaurant on Hanover Street.

Me and my mother traveled to Boston for the first time and ate at Mast's. We had delicious gnocchi and ravioli. It was some of the best Italian food I had in a while. The manager/owner greeted you as soon as you entered the restaurant...and all COVID precautions were followed.More
