Usually every time we go to Boston we have a meal at a Legal Seafood location. First time at Harborside and what a disaster....Service was terrible. Not just bad, terrible! Im pretty tolerant of service especially after the pandemic. I unfortunately did not read the...menu correctly so ordered a Wedge salad. It came with salmon bacon instead the usual pork bacon. Now let me explain I have an allergy to fin fish, not crab, so my meal was a crab cake. When I asked to have it taken back and remove the salmon bacon I told firmly that it stated clearly on the menu it was salmon bacon. I said guess I misread and (I believe the manager) again said it stated clearly what it was. I was appalled that I was spoken to that way. Plus they came back and questioned my truthfulness about the bacon because my entree was a crab cake. Ok so lets move on. Other members of the party ordered oysters and clam chowders an appetizer. Less than 5 minutes later our entrees were delivered! We had no room on the table and then they delivered the bread!! No excuse, nt even an apology. I was told the waiter when I started to say something that the would be back.... next thing I know he never comes back except to place the check on the table without a word. Wow! Almost $200.00 later (no alcohol) for 3 people without even a thank you.More

Restaurant's Favourite

I was part of a group departing from Terminal E. We needed a large table to celebrate one member of our party's birthday. The staff took this mission seriously and ensured that we were able to get a large-enough table early enough to have a...leisurely meal before our flight departed. As we anticipated, the food was also quite good. The menu is more limited than in their non-airport locations, but there were certainly plenty of choices.More

An airport restaurant can never be 5 star and this one was only a 3 but the food we had was 5 star. The place was crowded 3:45PM and we had to wait a bit but not very long to be seated. The table had...been cleaned but was a bit sticky anyway. We ordered the fishermans platter and the 8oz lobster roll, both $39 but in the end almost worth it. The lobster roll was crunchy on the outside and stuffed with real lobster meat. The seafood platter was the same price and everything on it was delicious, hot and fresh. The fries were hot and crunchy. The food was much better than we expected for the inflated airport price. The service was lacking. The few servers were working hard but it took a long time to order and longer to get our check. Water refills were scarce.More

I must say right away that staff matters! The lady up front told us it was an hour waiting for a table, and we almost walked out. But one of us pointed to some empty tables facing the streets and was told by another waiter...that we most certainly could sit there right now. Why would the first server almost send us out? The food was so so. We had lobster bisc soup to start with and that was one of the least tastiest lobster biscs I’ve had. Nothing wrong with it, but nothin great either. The oysters was so so, and definitely not what we would expect. The corn side dish was better. Then we where served naked Shrimps. It might have been me, but I never through they where fried like a nugget. I asked the server why she didn’t tell me this up front, but she didn’t take her time to explain that this was their way of making it or that I forgot to read the menu properly. I didn’t see any writing of oil+fried shrimps on the menu. For the price we paid for the food, we didn’t expect side orders to come in paper cups either.More

We were at BOS for an early departure to LAX and went to Legal Sea Foods for our breakfast. My wife had an American breakfast which was eggs her way. She had avocado and potatoes on the side. They were good about her gluten and...dairy allergies. I had a shrimp and avocado omelette. The food was very delicious and the coffee hit the spot for the early morning. It was good to have a good first meal before a long flight. Prices were very reasonable.More

I got to my gate for my departing flight 2 hours early. What a delight that there was a Legal Seafood right there! I got to enjoy one last New England seafood meal before leaving Boston. The grilled halibut and Boston cream pie were delicious....It was crowded and noisy, but I guess that’s to be expected in an airport.More

A classic sea food experience. Great lobster roll and an amazing tempura lobster sushi roll. The service is a little slow it feels like you need to bear the wait as part of the tradition

Stopped here before my flight and it was no less than awesome. I had a mug of chowder and a naked lobster roll with fries that was to die for. Huge portion of succulent lobster. Stephani provided excellent service. The beer selection is not outstanding,...but Sam Adams is good beer. I would go through security to eat here, even if it were the only one in the airport. Fortunately for travelers there are several locations in the airport. The only choice as far as I am concerned. I need to note that even though Trip Advisor says Terminal E for this listing. My review is for the one in Terminal B.More
