We only ate there once for lunch but the food was delicious and the service excellent. They only serve breakfast and lunch, not dinner.

I’ve read up on the history of Parker House Hotel and it’s restaurant and I was happy to finally come in and have breakfast here. It was pretty quiet and I think there were only two other tables of guests when I came in. The...waitress was really friendly and went to get my ice tea for me. I ordered the corn beef and hash with toast and sunny side up eggs on top. The hash was good, it had red peppers and onions. While I was there, the waitress shared a couple of fun bits about the restaurant. This was a place that Julia Child would frequent and sat at the table next to where I was sitting and a young upcoming chef, Emeril Lagasse was cooking. I also sat at the table (#40), where JFK had announced his engagement to Jackie. Food and good conversation, who could ask for more. I hope to eat here again soon!More

When visiting another city, where to have breakfast is usually among the first of my researches. I rarely write about these wonderful places because, really, what can you say about bacon and eggs? I’m making an exception for the Parker House, which is located inside...the Omni Hotel. Their breakfast specialties will keep you ready for anything all day. You could choose the sheer volume of the Beacon Hill Breakfast, down to their American Breakfast (no slouch), as well as their House Omelet (you may choose from several ingredients), and their Eggs Benedict. I believe you can also order their famous Boston Cream Pie, but, really, who has the room for it? And, apparently, they are at present (October 2021) ONLY open for breakfast. The ambience and service is superb, and justifies this necessary luxury. I was lucky in that I was staying almost a mile away, because I found the going-to walk very helpful in developing an early morning appetite and the returning walk, through the Common, an absolute necessity.More

You might think twice about ordering their Boston Cream Pie through Goldbelly. I received mine in a box propped on the wrong end. It was lopsided and all the custard shifted to one side. Lindsay of Goldbelly refuses to issue a refund.

I only ate breakfast here but it was beautiful. I had never had Boston Cream Pie, which was invented here, so they served me a small cupcake-sized pie after breakfast. Delicious.

We stayed at the hotel and went to Parker’s just for their signature dessert. The Boston Cream Pie is wonderful. Wish we would have tried a meal in the restaurant as well. Classic decor that takes you back in time.

Stayed at the Hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner on our first day. The breakfast was large and appetising although a little expensive at nearly $120 for three. Evening Meal - not cheap but absolutely fantastic. Our waiter...Bojan made us feel so welcome and his manner was attentive and not obtrusive. Clam chowder and crab cakes to start followed by the Pork Tomahawk, Steak and Lobster were all stunning. Lovely grand dining room but not at all stuffy. Would definitely recommend.More

We stay at the Omni-ParkerHouse at times when we visit Boston. For celebrations we go to Parker's Restaurant. Francesco, an incredible waiter was with us again. He is very knowledgable of the hotel's history, the food and his service is on point. We like to...joke a bit and he is right with us. He and the food make the nights special. The atmosphere is very old world elegant with a relaxed feel.More

The Parker House Restaurant has been around for more than a century. For good reason. It is not a place we dine often -- there are many fine, innovative, interesting restaurants in Boston now. But when a business lunch opportunity arose with an out of...town visitor, I thought this would be a good choice. I was right. It is decidedly old fashioned -- and that is not all bad, The clam chowder was the same as always -- thicker and heaver than today's fare, but still good. The Caesar salad was excellent. And the Parker House rolls were outstanding. The room is large and fancy. Also mostly empty during lunch mid-week. The service was attentive. We were not rushed, but it was clear that the place was closing pretty quickly. So it is not a place to linger. If you want to have a taste of what classic Boston dining was like, here it is. Read the book -- Dining Out in Boston -- and you'll learn more about Parker's.More

Good place for breakfast. My room rate at the Parker House included a full American breakfast. The scrambled eggs and English muffins were very good. Bacon could have been crisper. Potatoes were also tasty. Fast service

To start, I must say that the restaurant and hotel are beautiful and make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The food was phenomenal but the service was what I’d like to highlight here. Our waiter Bojan, was one in a million. We...are foodies that love to travel and wherever we go it has to include good culinary experience’s. Bojan does not disappoint! He was truly a joy to encounter last night. His menu recommendations were bang on and he was a pleasure to converse with! He was attentive, personable, funny and he really did add to our experience. All the wait staff were very attention detail oriented. All in all a wonderful experience and next time we visit Boston will definitely be staying and eating at the Omni Parker Hotel.More

We had Christmas Day lunch at Parker’s, and it felt so special and grand, yet not stuffy or overly formal. The standard lunch menu was offered, and we were not disappointed by the shrimp cocktail or the crab cakes. The baked “scrod” main was excellent,...and the scallops good although very slightly over-cooked. All the staff who we encountered were very friendly. Although online it says there is a dress code, people were not dressed super smartly, and the atmosphere felt relaxed. The surroundings are gorgeous. Ask the server to point out the table where JFK proposed to Jackie O.... Thanks to everyone at Parker’s for making our Christmas Day lunch such a lovely occasion.More
