We had the fun pleasure of having dinner here this past weekend, and were lucky enough to sit at one of Rachel’s tables. She was so lovely and her help of figuring out what we should eat was DELISH! I can’t wait to go back...to have more clam chowder soup and cheeseburger sliders!More

We were up on Beacon Hill admiring the State House when we saw this restaurant. It's very old and very interesting with a lot of history behind it. The lunch was delicious and drinks very thirst quenching. The best part of the experience was to...meet the owner and his daughter. They were engaging and so kind. This is a family run establishment that really puts it's heart and soul into making your dining experience enjoyable. Don't pass sthis place by!More

Bar with food. We arrived as a family and late, though they were really welcoming. Good food and service. Loved it

Husband and I had just finished touring the Massachusetts State House. We were headed back towards the Boston Commons area with the intent of finding something for lunch. We noticed this spot right across the street and stopped to read the menu outside. The sign...noted that they are recognized on Tripadvisor so I pulled them up on my phone right quick. After reading positive reviews, we went in. So glad we did. Smallish with low ceilings and a copper topped fireplace made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Husband ordered a turkey club with fries and I ordered burger sliders with onion rings.. Both meals were large and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.More

Comfortable outdoor seating across from the Massachusetts State House. Great service and one of the best Turkey Club sandwiches I have ever had. Excellent menu and destination steps from Boston Common and Faneuil Hall! Check it out!

Had to stop here just for the name in Boston. It was very dark and we were there about 1pm. Two staff/bartenders/waitresses were super friendly and the locals hanging and working at the bar could not have been more friendly. Not a ton of seating...and pillars in the middle of the place really hamper good seating in the bar area. Nice stop, but a one and done.More

Wow, the 21st Amendment is truly a showstopper. Amazing staff, regulars, atmosphere, drinks and food really bring this tavern to life. The short rib grilled cheese is truly to die for and they’re not afraid to pour a stiff drink. The regulars are close knit...and really make you feel like you’re in an episode of Cheers, will be coming back all the time. Thanks for showing me a great time!More

Very old building with a nice fireplace and large bar area. Sat in a quiet corner of the dining area. Had a small meal of the cheeseburger sliders and clam chowder. The sliders were top-notch, a bit thick and very good. The clam chowder was...amazing, loaded with clams and probably the best I’ve ever had. Service was fine, although we were there around 3pm on a Friday.More

What’s not to love about this cute little tavern nestled in the heart of beacon hill. The restaurant itself is stunning, original wood beams everywhere and amazing fireplace in the dinning room. I even think the inner windows are the original, there’s just so much...character. Also they had a beautiful designed outdoor seating area with picnic tables! PICNIC TABLES! I love it, really makes you feel at home. Lauren was the icing on top of the cake, top notch bartender. My husband and I will def be back just to see her. Such a kind sweet girl. Went over the whole menu with us and I must say the food did not disappoint. Best fish & chips in the city! Not to mention they also had clam chowder to go with it. Large ice cold beer selection and open for lunch and dinner! Make sure to say hi to Lauren when you stop in! She completes the whole experience.More

We stopped here as part of our own self-guided pub crawl, and were pleasantly surprised by the meaty chicken tenders (which we, thankfully, shared). I also enjoyed my prosecco cocktail (unusual offering for a pub).
