Great location for us, as we were staying across the road in Bricco Suites. Service was quick and polite. Coffee was good and also a good selection of food to start our day. Cannot ask for anything more.

The place has a very good selection of sandwiches or melts they can make. You can combine a large number of ingredients. No outside seating here but good amount of seating inside. Have visited all three places in Boston as it has become a sure...bet for quick meal.More

My daughters favorite coffee shop in Boston. Their iced latte is amazing and ironically they use Stumptown coffee beans from the Northwest where we are from. Service was quick. Tables were clean. The biggest issue is what you would expect in any large city. Parking...is a challenge particularly on the weekends. We are used to the drive through locations of Dutch Bros which are so convenient. We just dropped off someone and circled the block to make it work. Extra work but worth the effort. Enjoy.More

Generally poor experience. Upon arriving the barista, a younger woman w dark hair snapped at us to put our masks on. I say this as she herself had her mask below her nose, and patrons all over are eating and drinking without. Coffee was good...but not great. Asked for info on biscotti - she said it had just almonds but came with pistachios. Would be fine if I didn’t have a specific nut allergy. Tables all dirty as heck. Literally, the barista will snap about masks but let everyone eat on dirty tables. There was a 2 inch plastic divider separating the people ordering from the people eating. So a mask works 2 inches away but doesn’t matter once you’re sitting down? Place was filthy, barista rude. Get your priorities straight Thinking Cup!More

We were looking for a quick dessert after dinner. Bova’s, Modern, and Mike’s all had lines out the door. We came across the Thinking Cup and saw the word Bakery, so went in. There was no line. There were only 3 customers inside. It was...the last night of St. Anthony’s Feast, the last feast of the summer. The North End was hopping. The emptiness should have clued us in. Anyway they had cookies abd that’s what the kids wanted. They wanted just a plain good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie. Not available here- they have gluten free, sea salt, or wheat. Not number one kid choices. We found the girl behind the counter straight faced and very unfriendly. Got a bad vibe from this place and will not be returning.More

We were walking the Freedom Trail on a VERY hot June day in Boston when our daughter who is especially susceptible to heat was about to melt on us, so we stopped in here for air conditioning, bathrooms, and something cold and sweet. This little...place which was definitely doing the business took care of all of those things for us. They even had a few gluten free dessert options and since we don't have a huge market of those things back home, I always partake. 😉 The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and more importantly the A/C was working and the bathrooms were clean (must acquire a code from the employees to use them).More

This is a super cute coffee shop located in the little Italy section of Boston. I ended up here unintentionally after the two places that have a “cannoli war” only accepted cash. This was such a pleasant surprise with great atmosphere and great cannolis. I...would recommend this place for a date or even for studying, having alone time, etc.More

Excellent coffee place. When in North End I always come to this place. It's always busy and the latte made the way I like it and the tiramisu was delicious. Love the place.

There are several of these in Boston and I visited 2. Coeliacs are very well catered for with several options. I went for toasted cheese on gf bread. I asked if it would be toasted separately and was assured that my requirements would be taken...seriously. Indeed mine arrived and looked slightly different to my daughters non gf toasted sandwich. It was very tasty and no after effects so they must have cooked mine separately. Lots of choice for gf desserts but I was too full sadly. Maybe another day!More

We ate breakfast at Thinking Cup every day of our week spent in the North End of Boston. GREAT coffee, and a good variety of fresh, tasty, offerings for breakfast and lunch. Prices were good, and decor very appealing.

Visited this cafe on a Sunday morning with a friend and her family. I ordered a ham and egg with English muffin and a hot chocolate. Muffin was soft and crisp, and the eggs were generous paired with a deliciously thick slic of cheese. One...of the best muffins I've had. Hot chocolate was also nice, not too sweet. The payment system was also pretty cool, they could actually send an electronic receipt to your email address based on information from your credit card.More

The thinking cup is in a great location for tourists in Boston. It’s near a lot of historical locations and it is good food for when you’re on the go. They have a quick service and tasty food. I personally enjoyed their hot sandwiches.

We stopped in for a Sunday coffee last weekend. Just plain good coffee with quick service. The pasteries and other breakfast foods looked delicious. Loved the old newspapers on the tables. Looking forward to trying the goodies next time.
