My sister and I were looking for a quiet good meal, not too expensive, near South Station, and this was perfect. It's right on the Greenway a couple of blocks walk from the station. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options, and most items can be made gluten-free...as I requested. They do a big take-out business. Everything is cooked to order. The menu marks the level of spiciness. I'd definitely go back there.More

Service was great, average food however. Not bad, but not a wow! We ordered 2 pad Thais with chicken, a drunken noodle and a mango sticky rice. Food was quick, it was tasty but not overwhelmingly great.

Good decent Thai food . Not excellent yet to the level where I would like it to be . Papaya salad lacks that spicy kick , need less string beans , need to be more hots and more papayas. The sweet mango desert was good...though . Not a bad place for to go also.More

I stopped by Siam Bistro to grab some Thai takeout. It’s located right off the Rose Kennedy Greenway on the edge of the Downtown and Waterfront districts. The Pad Thai and Thai tea I ordered were fantastic! Even after walking back to my hotel a...block away, the food was still hot and fresh. The staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!More

There are not many spectacular Thai restaurants in Boston. Siam Bistro sits in the upper tenth of the group. There are many emphatic 5 star ratings but it's just OK. There's just not much good competition. The pad Thai was not soggy like many nearby...competitors and the protein choices were plenty. The crispy chicken was recommended by a friend but it was just a deep fried breast that was sliced and stack atop the noodles. I prefer the original shrimp version. Beware that the spice level is high and the mild can make you reach for a drink.More

The restaurant is nice with good service. While the food was good, the water tasted very weird. The Vegetable Tempuras were good

I love Thai food and I work nearby so I decided to order on grub hub, take a little walk, pick it up and return to my desk to eat it. This place is incredibly small. Very few tables and seemed like mostly 2 tops...at that so I wouldn't count on getting a table here during lunch hour. They appear to be mainly take out anyway. I got no greeting on my arrival and the cashier basically ignored me. No friendly welcome here. I had ordered pork pad Thai with extra cilantro and no bean sprouts. Got to my desk and opened the lid. Food hot but right away it didn't look very appetizing. No bean sprouts, check. But that was it for me. Only one sprig of cilantro, bummer. And very few peanut pieces, unlike what you would normally get with this traditional dish and by my count only 4 bite sized pieces of pork. Obviously they are thinking you fill up on the noodles. I took a bite and you would not believe how incredibly tough the meat was! It was nearly inedible. The noodles were fine but almost no flavor. Very bland. Kind of like eating ramen noodles without the flavor packet if you know what I mean. Honestly if I'd had time I would have put this in the trash can and gone out for something else. My feeling here is, if they can't cook the national dish, they probably shouldn't have a restaurant. Sorry.More

Had a great dinner here with my friend last night. We ordered tom yum soup, coconut shrimp, duck fried rice and chicken satay all were delicious! Surprisingly they have the fried tofu in my home style!

We were staying nearby at the Intercontinental and found this in the idine program so we chose this for our first lunch on this Boston trip. When we arrived, there were few places to sit with most of them used by people waiting for to-go...orders so we decided to also order take away. That way we could save on overpriced canned and bottled beverages and just drink free water from the hotel and eat in peace as well. I had the Udon Garlic Noodle Lunch with Chicken and shrimp. There were few shrimp, 2 I believe, and a few ounces of white chicken meat but lots of vegetables and noodles! It was ok. My other half had the Beef Macadamia Lunch with brown rice. Also ok. Price with tip was $24. If this is in the dining program when we next stay at the Intercontinental, we may do lunch here again. The food was better than the Chinese place a few blocks away that is in the dining program, but I prefer to eat in, and this place just doesn't make that too inviting due to limited space.More

This place is great when working late as it opens till around 9pm or 10pm. They give you a lot of food but the food is average at best. I did not find anything fancy about it. Service isn't impeccable but I didn't come for...the service, only for the convenience of location and time it is open.More
