Food is great but their attitude is awful! Arrogant, inhospitable and unbending - because they're busy they treat some guests badly just because they can. They have rules that they stick to even when it's unnecessary. Owner's daughter at door is particularly unpleasant! She suggested...I could complain but as she's the daughter nothing would happen - confrontational and rude. Can she even spell hospitality?More

Fantastic Italian restaurant situated in an urban neighborhood near Logan airport, family-owned and operated for over twenty years. The menu has all the regular Italian fare but the specials? Mouth watering to simply read the menu!! Wait staff were warm and friendly offering suggestions along...with excellent service. Portions were enormous, beautifully presented and delicious. As Oregonians, we felt like we were locals or in Italy. Will hope to return to my home town soon so I can eat there again.More

It’s a small place tucked away in east Boston with some of the best Italian food in the city. It’s a more quaint atmosphere, but also super popular. The lobster ravioli is fantastic, but you can’t go wrong with any of their pasta dishes. The...portions are also massive… when my husband and I order it for takeout, we typically split one order of pasta and feel very full.More

This was a short walk from our hotel and worth it. Very friendly servers and the food was wonderful. Portions are large - wish we could have taken some home for leftovers. They also do a significant amount of carry out business. The veal was...a better option than my wife’s chicken Marsala. Seating inside is VERY noisy. There are a few outside tables. We would love to come back!More

Very friendly staff. The food was amazing, portions generous and we all left with enough leftovers for another whole meal. Inside the restaurant was cozy and they had a nice small outdoor dining area as well. We had the Bruschetta and Caprese for starters, then...Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Gnocci and Ravoli. All delicious.More

The food was amazing. The staff were great. Didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes. I just love this place. Friends came in from Texas and they had heard about Rino's, and they loved it as well.

Have to admit I'm a triple D junkie so we had to stop when in Boston. It is a small neighborhood place and it did not dissapoint. The portions were HUGE and was priced very resaonably. Calarmari was fresh, everything came out fresh, hot and...delicious. The lemon sorbet served in a frozen lemon was a great ending. Only minutes from Logan Airport so a great way to eat and fly home on a full stomach. Would highly recommendMore

We waited about an hour (Saturday evening of the marathon weekend at 8pm) and it was worth it! We started with the Cesar salad which had a lovely creamy dressing and a half crab cake. The crab cake was flakey, had a nice balsamic drizzle...and was beautifully sweet. The lobster ravioli was delicious. All servings were very large, came out fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Thank you!More

I have worked in Boston for over a decade and never had the opportunity to dine at Rino’s until now. The entire staff was friendly and the service was excellent (although we were never brought bread). We expected a wait for a table and waited...it out for 2 hours (Sat night) at Kelley’s Pub down the street. We got a couple of appetizers (the arancini were very good) and ordered dinner. Lobster Ravioli and the Rino’s Special. The home made pasta was very good and the sauces were excellent. Unfortunately the lobster in and on top of the ravioli was over cooked and mealy. The taste and consistency ruined the dish entirely. Because one of our dishes was bad it kind of ruined the whole experience for us. I’m sure it normally is outstanding and judging by the consistent reviews I believe we just had a bad batch of lobster but for $40 is was beyond disappointing. For those that are particular about acoustics, this is NOT the place for you. It is in fact the worst acoustic in a restaurant I’ve ever experienced. All in all, I’m not sure we’ll be back.More

I really enjoyed my meal at Rino’s. It made my day. I really think you should aim for more authentically Italian proportions of your food. The expectation should be that no one goes home with a “doggy bag”. One arancino, instead of 2, for an...antipasto. Small portions of fresh pasta offering for a primo. (I was happy to see that you offered half-potions for many of your items.) and then your secondi should be scaled WAAAY back. Two or three medallions of a protein with light toppings , without pasta, would b e more than sufficient and would probably save you a lot of money. All in all, I’m very glad I got to experience one of the highlights of East Boston.More

The atmosphere and food were fantastic. We timed it just right and hardly had a wait but a line formed by the time we left. This was a great sign and let us know we chose right. You can’t go wrong with Rino’s and wouldn’t...think twice about recommending it for anyone looking for good food, great staff and a wonderful evening.More

We started with their Shrimp Scampi on toast appetizer, which was excellent. No holding back on the garlic without being overwhelming. Entrees included their house made Lobster Ravioli, which had excellent flavor, but the lobster was chewy. This was something we found in our travel...through Maine this week - all the lobster was tough and chewy regardless of where we got it. We also had their Chicken Marsala served with house made fettuccine. Excellent! My only criticism is the portion size, which was enough for three people. Good if you like leftovers, but not when traveling. A good experience, but be prepared to spend time hunting for a place to park on the narrow streets.More

Travel for a living, and Rino’s is probably my favorite Italian restaurant anywhere. Try the lobster rav, or the Rino’s Special and make sure you come hungry!

Just street parking. We drove around about ten minutes and got a space three blocks away. A short walk.
