Seated downstairs in the corner on a table with absolutely NO space between back of chair & wall. So uncomfortable! Asked to move which waitress did. She then seated another larger party at that same table and they also ended up moving! Ridiculous! Sort out...your tables! Chairs dreadfully uncomfortable too. Veal & chicken Marsala watery, veal tough. Served with a side of penne with tomato sauce. Marsala sauce & tomato sauce do NOT GO TOGETHER! Vegetables would have been the proper side! Very disappointing meal and comfort level. Music too loud, had to shout to converse. Sorry to be so negative but in this day & age they really need to IMPROVE.More

Pro: lobster ravioli was excellent: perfectly cooked & excellent sauce. Service was great. Ordered lasagna & I we couldn’t eat it: floating in pink colored water, pasta undercooked & Meat sauce so tough couldn’t bite thru it. Waitress noticed & removed from table & bill....As a scicillian myself I did try to share constructive input to what appeared to be manager but he simply waved me off & walked away. Such a shame.More

Dinner at Massimino's Cucina Italiano in Boston was a delight. We were seated outside, and the service was prompt and attentive. The waitress took the time to check on food allergies for one of our party, which was greatly appreciated. Everything was delicious, from the...drinks to the desserts, and presentation was good. I particularly enjoyed the Limoncello dessert.More

My brother and I loved our meal here. Our waiter Brenton was superb. We feasted on fried calamari, delicious Veal Fiorentina, a succulent scallop and a shrimp limoncello special. My brother also loved his side salad and sautéed spinach. The food was exquisite; the service...was outstanding and the portions were very large. I highly recommend dining here when visiting the North End or attending a TD Garden event.More

My friend and I had a spectacular meal. We shared an outstanding artichoke margarita appetizer. I had the tremendous Veal Massimino, and my friend devoured the Scrod Pizzaiola. Our server Brenton was outstanding. He was so attentive and made for such a wonderful experience. The...food here was delicious; the portions were huge and the service as previously mentioned was extraordinary. I would highly recommend dining here.More

It wasn’t bad, but there is so much better to be had in the North End. The Burrata was deep fried and greasy. The linguine carbonara was, likewise, greasy and the linguine was slightly over-cooked. Service was very good.

We found this little restaurant to eat at prior to a Celtics game this week. Best choice ever! The place was small and quaint, with authentic Italian food. Our server was outstanding in his service and suggestions for meal choices and their famous Nonna's Meatball...appetizer. That was a meal in itself and delicious! The meal was superb from start to finish with a homemade cannoli. Within walking distance to TD Garden for the game!More

Our visit started out great. Our drink order was taken immediately and we received bread with an excellent olive oil to dip it in. I ordered clams casino for an appetizer, but what I got was something entirely different. I was given a very large...clam filled with some type of porridge. It didn’t taste bad, but it wasn’t clams casino. My wife enjoyed her eggplant appetizer and entree and my veal parmigiana was good, but not $28.95 good. Our waitress never checked to see if we wanted drink refills or a bread refill nor did she tell us about their specials. The waiter for the table next to us thoroughly explained the specials to his table, refilled their bread and drinks. This was a less than stellar experience.More

One of the top restaurants in the North End. The food is terrific - try the chicken marsala or anything with eggplant. Can be a bit noisy, but a classic spot.

Rodger one of the servers if for sure a character and a great guy and Paul the owner works...hard and really gives you an experience! The downstairs area they have a bar/ wine cellar area that looks and feels fantastic. I asked Paul about his wines and he Paul gave me a breakdown how wine is priced and made. 10 out 10 would recommend to everyone.More

----- Concise Review Great food, atmosphere, crew/staff ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday,...but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Friday we explored Boston, focusing mostly on the Freedom Trail. As dinner time arose, not knowing which of the many restaurants to pick from, our daughter searched and found another place. As we walked there, she noticed a sign on he wall noting that Massimino’s serves wonderful lobster ravioli, one of her favorite dishes. So we decided to dine at Massimino’s instead. GOOD PICK! The table has the feel of a classic Italian restaurant, with smaller tables, smaller overall restaurant, Italian images on the walls, a statue of St. Anthony of Padua (who always spoke beautifully of the Lord), images of Venitian gondolas painted in the tables, etc. —> great Italian atmosphere! We enjoyed: - Bread and dipping oil+herbs (nicely left with us as we first sat at the table) - Lobster Ravioli - Chicken Saltamboca - Stuffed Veal Chop - a shared glass of Chianti The food was very good! The servers were friendly and attentive. Great dinner - thank you, Massimino’s! ----- ----- -----More
