Five of us went on a Saturday night with reservations, maybe a 10 minute wait. Pretty small restaurant that was very busy. Sat us downstairs which is not the best, very cramped and kind of dingy. Service was fair considering the crowd. Had the greens...and beans even though not on the menu, very tasty. Grandson loved the homemade cavetelli , gnocchi good too. The shrimp fra diavolo was great and the lobster frutti de mer in fra diavolo sauce was huge, lots of lobster and other seafood. The lasagna was disappointing, tasted ok but one layer and kind of skimpyMore

I made the mistake of waiting at this restaurant with my family and after waiting over an hour, the host tried to seat other people before us. They have no system, are rude and I will never waste my time waiting here again. Do yourself...a favor and go anywhere else, we did!More

As europeans, we know italian cuisine, and I can say that pagliucas provides correct italian dishes. We went with kids, no kids menu were available , so we thought we could order a plate for 2 kids. We have been informed by the not welcoming...and not friendly waitress that sharing a plate will cost an additional $13!!!! The entire lunch was way too much overpriced for the basic food we had, and when receiving the bill, we discovered that there was an automatic tip at 20% although we were not happy of the waitress. We felt that we were just good enough to pay. We are tourists but not stupid. Travellers from everywhere, if you want to go there , pass your way , a good client for PagliucasMore

So disappointing . Service was non existence Food wasn’t even good for a pizza shop. We ordered light , octopus salad on Romane . octopus came in a small champagne glass on a one piece of iceberg lettuce. I ordered a bowl of pasta figole..., small cup of beans and macaroni hardly any liquid. We split a sangria which was ok. Our food took over an hour to arrive. No one ever came over to ask how everything was Table next to us sent their food back it came cold. I don’t think they get return customers, a real tourist trapMore

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and warm family service. Restaurant was really busy, but wait staff was very responsive. Pasta was delicious.

We got there and waited to order. We ate some bread and waited. then we ordered. OMg we waited so so long. waitresses was waiting all the tables and told us she also had a large group to take care of inside. We were outside...waited an hour to get our food. Shrimp scampi was watery a disappointment. Some of the dishes were good but waiting so long takes a toll on your patience. the weather was windy and cool It was warm but the temperature dropped and we thought about moving inside but afraid our order would be delayed even more. chicken lemon dishes were good. There are 108 Italian restaurants on north side of Boston.Suggestions make reservations great idea.More

Great little family run place just off Hanover. Nothing fancy which is what we were looking for: A down to earth Italian place with meals that taste like grandma's cooking was exactly what we got. Great service, great food, great price and a wonderful vibe....We'll be going back!More

Nice spot off of Hanover street. The inside is somewhat dated but the food was very good as was the service. Some good all around choices for lunch and dinner.

Under the radar fabulous Italian restaurant! I did a lot of research on restaurants in the North end I am so glad we went with Pagliuca! We will definitely be back. We had the best calamari for an appetizer out of the last 3 nights!...For dinner we had veal & potatoes, lobster ravioli & pesto pasta. Everything was delicious!More

This was by far the worst meal I have had in North End. We had family from Europe visiting and were looking for late lunch. With other restaurants not opening till 4:00 or 5:00, we just walked into Pagliuca’s. We ordered meatballs and stuffed artichoke...for appetizer. Meatballs were ok, artichoke was nonexistent. Instead it was a ball of cold microwaved bread stuffing. For dinner I had eggplant Parmesan that was mediocre. My brother ordered gnocchi, were just ok. My two nieces had fettuccine Alfredo and bolognese. Bothe were just horrible. When we pointed out to the server that the food quality is so poor, she just replied that we must not like Italian food. Don’t waste your time and money, plenty of excellent choices just around the corner.More

We came here for dinner on our first night in Boston. The food and service were very good! Our server was great...very friendly and recommended a different dish when the lasagna that my husband wanted was sold out for the evening. We ordered dinner, 2...different pasta dishes, and an appetizer, caprese salad. Everything was delicious!More

This review is based on food only. We had a new server on her first shift so cannot comment on service. Really neat place with outdoor seating and a good vibe. Ravioli and Gnocchi were good. Shrimp dish was very good. Stay away from the...veal saltimbocca. There was no prosciutto on it and it tasted like egg foo young....I’m not kidding. Lots of people have come to this place and seems like it was very popular at one time, but probably need to hire a new chef.More

Our family has been to Pagliuca's countless times - never disappoints! You will enjoy generous portions of authentic Italian food. We Highly recommend dining at Pagliuca's. Enjoy twirling your favorite al dente pasta dishes - with an attentive, well trained staff and charming host. Calamari...fritti - perfection and our veal chops and veal scallopini and cutlets were all tender and tasty. This is our families go to restaurant -More

Great location, food, and service. Right in the heart of the North End, a stones throw from the Garden and 20 mins from Fenway, yet you may as well be in Italy. The seafood, pasta and bread were fantastic with each ingredient clearly fresh and...prepared in time honored fashion. Both of our meals were served hot and expeditiously in generous portions with a welcoming smile. This is a family business that provides excellent food and service in a comfortable setting at a very fair price. They have earned our repeat business and will be back.More
