We dined here on our last night in Boston. Thank goodness that we could walk there because finding a parking space would have been very challenging. A nice touch of serving bread and an olive dish almost immediately after we were seated! Our server, Lulu,...was attentive.....but allowed us ample time to enjoy our drinks and make our dinner selections. Decisions about our preferred entrees weren't made very easily........Limoncello has a quite-varied menu that features pasta, seafoods, meats, etc. Lots to pick from.....and then there were also additional specials for the evening. I was tempted to order their meatball special, but selected the Eggplant Rollatini with Penne instead.......very good. My spouse enjoyed his Veal Parmigiana w/ Spaghetti. We're looking forward to another trip to Boston in our future......so many good restaurants there, including Limoncello!More

What a great place for lunch or dinner. Great ambiance and staff. Busy but very attentive. Ample supply of fresh bread and assorted olive dish at every table. The homemade meatballs are out of this world. You can have them as an appetizer but be...advised, they are big (3) and could be enough for a meal. They melt in your mouth and the sauce is divine. Had the black ink linguine with lobster and portion was big and they didn’t skimp on the lobster. Absolutely exquisite. You can’t go there and not try their homemade limoncello a great touch after a fabulous meal. Corrcedo and his staff are delightful. As far as I’m concerned, best Italian restaurant in Boston’s North end. Definitely will be coming back when passing through Boston. Peter M HawaiiMore

We make it a point to eat here each time we go to Boston. It doesn't get more authentic than Limoncello. We've never had a bad meal and enjoy the friendly, lively atmosphere. We feel it's reasonably priced as well.

Overrated. Much better places in the North End. Food was very average. Host/maitre’d was rude and unhelpful. On a positive note, although loud, the atmosphere was very authentic Italian and had a vibe.

My wife and I checked into the Marriott Pulse Custom House, and after speaking with the concierge we had her book this restaurant. She knew the owners personally, so it was a know brainer. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and the service started, the...staff was courteous and attentive. Our waitress was simply amazing, of course with our Southern Appalachian accent and her Italian Boston accent we finally communicated. Lol, it was a hoot she was just awesome and her dinner recommendations were amazing also. My wife had the recommended Rosette Al Montasio and I really should stop here, because it was absolutely fabulous and unique to this place. We had a couple of the “Million Dollar Meatballs” and they were delicious too. They were named because the now owner for some 20 plus years bought a scratch off lottery ticket and won a Million dollars and bought the restaurant, and thus the name for the meatballs. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing Italian restaurant experience. Thanks Marriott Vacation Club Pulse concierge Monika for steering a couple of foodies in the right direction.More

Wonderful ambiance and great food! Really liked the Limoncello Martini, extraordinary veal Marshall, great salads, and only average lasagna. Would love to go back again.

We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed! The meatballs are freaking amazing, next time I’ll just get a plate of them! We also had the penne and the veal parm, both were outstanding but the meatballs stole the show.

In the Boston's North End, there is Italian food everywhere. How do you know where to go? Start at Limoncello's. We went there based on a recommendation. We liked it so much we ate there 3 nights out of 5!! The rosette pasta was AMAZING!!!...The restaurant allows to you to order some things ala carte which is cool when you want to try something but don't want the whole meal. Tartufo for dessert was outstanding as well. Always very busy so make a reservationMore

We had an amazing dinner at Limoncello! The food was authentic Italian and was absolutely delicious!! We started with the bread and olives that they brought to the table. From there we had the seared scallops sauted in a limencello sauce - amazing!! My husband...had cheese ravioli and a meatball and I had the veal saltimbocca. Both were delicious and huge portions. Everything about our meal was top notch and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful. All in all a perfect night out for our anniversary!More

Quick service and friendly staff but maybe a bit too rushed. The food was ok but the wine menu was great. The manager was very friendly and despite being very busy had time for a chat. Overall a pleasant meal and we would visit again

Yes, at times it can be loud. Call ahead and find out how many reservations they have set on the night you choose. I find it’s nost quiet in the 5-6 pm hours & loudest on weekends between 7-9. Hope this helps.
