Yum!! I’ve been a few times over the years and the food and service is always good! Our server today, Kevin, was awesome! He was one of the best that I have encountered! Delicious food as always!

Hostess was seating all families immediately next to this loud obnoxious party with screaming kids running around. as if other parents with well behaved kids want to listen to other parents suck at parenting. One other party was in tears it was so loud. Waiter...nearly sat in my lap trying to take a group photo for these awful people. Worst part of it is the restaurant was mostly empty. They could have sat everyone well apart. Food was relatively mediocre. They got rid of their amazing garlic bread. The entrees have been scaled down. It wasn’t really all that great. Definitely not worth the headache I got simply because the hostess doesn’t know how to space loud parties away from everyone.More

From the booking process through arrival and during the meal we were treated with warmth and effciency. The waiting staff and chef were brilliant. The food was delicious and tey even brought sparkly deserts for two of our party who's birthday it was and they...were actually free! Whatver you're paying this lovely team - it isn't enough! Nice atmosphere and great food but service left a lot to be desired. Early evening, did not seem overly busy but we were waited on “by committee “. We saw about 6 or 8 waiters or waitresses at our table. Someone brought water, someone else...drinks, someone else entrees, etc. Then long period when no one checked on us even after we finished our entree. I asked to see a desert menu and 15 min later someone asked if we had decided (no, because I really wanted gelato and haven’t been to many Italian restaurants without it). Then we asked for the check. Someone brought it, another picked it up and another person returned it. Three different waiters within 5 min. Makes it hard to tip, so we only tipped 18% instead of our usual 25% or more.More

This was our first visit to Mangianno’s and we had a lovely time. The atmosphere is Italian romantic with old time favorite Italian music in the background. The premises were clean, clean, clean. The staff was very professional and efficient while being friendly and helpful....The food was delicious and nicely presented. You have to save room for dessert as the chocolate layer cake was divine! I also had a cappuccino that was delicious. Prices were reasonable and the portions ample.More

Went with a senior group. Served family style on the menu we choice last month. We were NOT disappointed. The food kept coming and each was better than the next. We had chicken piccata which was made the correct way (pounding it before cooking). Wait...staff was VERY attentive and responsive. Bathrooms were clean and comfortable. This is a huge place, two floors, but make a reservation to be sure to be seated.More

Best Chicken Piccata Ever!! Chicken tender and served hot with steamed spinach and spagetti with garlic aioli. You can taste the the difference. They used quality ingredients. This was a lunch date and more food than I would normally eat but hard to stop it...was so good. Dining companion really liked their entree also but agreed my entree was better. Ambiance, decor very nice. Background music Perry Como, Frank Sinatra fare I wouldn't normally listen to but it was pleasant enough here. Many, many tables...I couldn't believe how large the restaurant is. Service was excellent (not experienced much this last year...covid...service personnel shortages etc. ). I would definitely meet others visiting Boston here. Across from Park Plaza hotel so easy to find. Quiet enough for conversation.More

Second time dining. Really nice large family style Italian restaurant. Our daughter’s who don’t normally like stuffed mushrooms, loved them here. Chicken Francese was excellent. The rigatoni arrabbiata was hearty and a moderately spicy.

Before Covid, Maggiano’s was one of our preferred restaurants for fine Italian dining. Not anymore. A recent visit revealed a downhill slide based on wait staff and the meal we were served. Both of our chicken piccata dishes were pre-prepared and the spaghetti was stiff....In conversation with our waiter we learned veal was no longer on the menu because everything is being prepared in advance since Covid. Arrivederci!More

Fantastic restaurant. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The food is out of this world. Never been much of a fan of Italian food, but Maggiano’s has converted me. The meatball starter alone is worth the trip. We had the...Rigatoni D and Linguine Di Mare as mains and these were incredible. We will definitely be visiting again.More

Real Italian food in the center of Boston. The pasta was “al dente “ , well seasoned and the lasagne was home made. The food was accompanied by good and affordable Italian wine and the service was good. For once it took time to be...served which means the food was prepared freshly. Highly recommend it mainly for the Europeans !More
