Fabulous, comfortable atmosphere The food selections are varied and wonderfully prepared. My bone in pork chop on butternut squash purée with braised red cabbage was so tasty!

We walked in for lunch as there werent very tasty options in this lovely neighborhood, which is a shame. The menu is pretty boring with all the usuals. I would say that they are trying to be one step above pub food. They have a...lovely patio for seating. Our burger was ordered medium well and came, pretty rare. The fries were basic as well as the caesar salad. The staff were all very nice. I wouldnt really recommend the restaurant to anybody travelling to Boston.More

My husband and I visited 75 Chestnut with another couple on their anniversary/my birthday to celebrate the occasions. We made a reservation about a week in advance online. We were greeted at the door by the general manager, who seated us, was checking on tables...throughout the night, and we could tell he really cared about each person's experience. Our server, Ashley, was amazing! Best service we had in Boston (we were there for 5 days). She came to the table frequently, was kind and engaged, and even made sure free desserts came out to celebrate our occasions, which were not requested at all! If you're looking for a super special place tucked into a historical area in Boston, I'd highly recommend 75 Chestnut.More

The food is very good, though a little pricey. The service is fantastic. We would definitely return.

I was one of the first diners on a Sunday morning. My food was tepid at best and some components (e.g. bacon and potatoes) were evidently not freshly cooked that day. The management team were apologetic and without asking halved the check so I've given...75 Chestnut a plus rating for their service.More

We went for bruch. Our friends we delayed, and the staff could not have been nicer. The fish and chips was the most popular dish. The eggs Florentine was good too.

We came here for dinner after reserving a table. The restaurant was busy and we were told they were running 10-15 late. So we waited outside ( there was no room to wait inside) and it was quite cold outside . 25 minutes later, still...no table to be seen … we were simply asked to keep waiting! They simply overbook and we were left with no table. It was too cold to keep waiting outside so we left. Not a way to run a restaurant !More

Saturday brunch is ruined when a waitress argues with you that Triple Sec is an aperitif and then claims to also be a bartender but doesn’t know what Aperol is! She was clearly premenstrual, if you know what I mean. Horrible attitude. And the hostess...wasn’t much better. Now this isn’t a place where salt and pepper shouldn’t be on a table, but it wasn’t. The outdoor dining gave you the feel as if you were at a construction site. The steak knives had been through the dishwasher so many times you’d swear they were from World War II. Come on, update! The plates and silverware were a poor match, so your cutlery falls into your plate because the lip on the plate is too high! Then - ready - the waitress brings the check and expects you to clear it when you are eating the main course! Hey, look, I was honest and told the hostess the steak and eggs had a line of gristle running through it and I ordered soda water with lemon because the bartender/waitress didn’t know what Aperol was. So my check was a meager $24 - no tip for this poor service. I dread to think what dessert might have been!! Cheers around the corner is owned by the same people so it’s probably no better but there are other spots nearby that deserve your attention - this place has seen it’s day until better management returns!More

We had a lovely dinner here. Staff are attentive and the food was excellent, particularly the fall specials. Sadly we did not have enough room for dessert. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience. Delicious drinks and food. Wonderful service. And a quaint little place. My mother said the filet was the best steak she’d ever tasted! If we’d been in the city another night, we’d have eaten there again.

Loved the ambience of this place. Cute back streets near our hotel ( the Copley Plaza) Fun lit up outside, cozy inside. Waiter had lots of personality- but kept getting our order wrong. Twice. So I think he was not on his A game that...night. My peach salad was disappointing but still good, the fish stew was terrific. My table mates were not as enthusiastic about their dishes as I was-In any case, enjoyed the neighborhood and the feel of the place- and the food was nice. The Sangria was good too- and we very much enjoyed the fruit cobbler and chocolate cookie. Nothing really stood out " to die for"- but all good.More

We had dinner here Sept. 2021. The restaurant is small, but the food and service were great. The decor makes it feel very intimate. Our dinners were moderately priced and the portions were generous but not to the point of having too much food. We...are at half.a dozen restaurants during our stay and this was our favorite.More

Forget some of the restaurants on the main streets, and go where locals go…this was a beautifully tucked away place with a great neighborhood feel. Most of the people seemed to be local, love that vibe. We sat outside, they have a little make shift...patio that was perfect. The weather was pleasant in the evening. The service was great, our food was delicious with a bit of a Mediterranean fusion twist.More

Perfect place to dine alone. Very small and cozy. A seat at the bar will give you a view out the front window to the street. Have fun!
