Wait staff was attentive and accommodating. The Old Fashioned was mixed well. Boston Creme Pie was passable.

Stopped in for a drink after the theatre. Very classy bar, interesting historical items on the walls. Server was kind, efficient and helpful. Cocktail was delicious. And we sampled the tasty little Boston cream pie. Would recommend for a quiet and classy venue.
My husband and I had dinner at the Last Hurrah while staying in the OMNI. It is a very casual place which is street level, but only accessed through the OMNI lobby. It was a Friday night and busy, but we were able to get...a table right away. The wait staff were attentive. We shared a cheese board which was good. The wine list is long. The menu is small and limited to what I think of as comfort foods and salads. If you are in the mood for soup. stew, or a hearty sandwich, this is the place. If you are craving a steak, you are better off accross the street at Ruth Chris.More
We stopped in after dinner for the famed Parker House Boston Creme Pie, and my husband had an espresso martini as well. They are busy and the wait staff hustles to make sure every guest is cared for in a timely manner. I loved the...Boston creme pie! This is the original recipe and I’ve never had one like it. The hotel has a sort of mini museum if you have time to wander through as well.More
Fun stop after finishing our walking ghost tour! We had drinks and the famous Boston Cream Pie. It was expensive but the service was excellent and we loved the experience!
We stopped in for coffee (Irish) and dessert (Boston Creme Pie). Be prepared to pay, but this place is historic in the Omni Parker House Hotel. Since we were staying there, we wanted to experience the bar.
We came into the Last Hurrah after a food and history tour of Boston. We stopped in since it was the birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie and also was known historically for its Parker Rolls. Mainly looking for water, a place to cool down,...relax, and rest our feet. We were delighted with our waiter Francesco. When a table of four comes in and asks for free rolls, one salad and one Boston cream pie, most wait staff might feel like it was not worth the effort. Francesco ,however, was a gracious host, brought us rolls and talked through the history of them, extended that with stories of the famous and infamous staff, as well as the history behind the Boston Cream Pie. We so enjoyed his story telling style, gracious service and a place to relax. So we upped the tip and thanked him for his excellent tour The hotel is worth the stop and if you can ask for Francesco!.More
We had a chance to have cocktails in the Last Hurrah during our recent trip to Boston. Kind of an old-school place - comfortable, dark, and very good cocktails. The bar is very centrally located - steps from Fanuel Hall and Downtown crossing. A nice...place to end a day of exploring in Boston. Bar is in the Parker House hotel.More
Loved the old school, upscale atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Convenient location near popular central Boston sites. And reasonably priced drinks!
What a really cool place to hangout and enjoy some good food and drinks. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the patrons can be very diverse, you may find yourself in a good conversation here as I did. There’s a food menu for some...bar bites (I loved the Reuben sliders - very good) and of course you can always try the legendary Boston Cream Pie. The atmosphere is friendly and casual and that is always a good place to be. Special shout out to Francesco for the amazing stories about the Parker house hotel. Peggy for the helpful details. Scott, Andrew, Alejandro and Ryan for your customer service. They are the best! This place will always be a favorite of mine. Enjoy!More
Was my favorite bar in Boston but for some crazy reason they removed taps!!! SMH! Still great service but no draft beer?!
Absolutely the epitome of style, grace and pleasantries expected of a very upscale and posh establishment with prices quite shockingly low. An excellent menu, delicious Boston Cream Pie (birthplace of it, in fact). The scotch menu was extremely impressive. Francesco made The Last Hurrah the...perfect end to each day we spent in Boston and his graciousness is the leading reason we will return again to Boston from our home in the Cayman Islands. The Last Hurrah is an absolute must experience in Boston.More
Cozy bar, Boston cream pie martini and Boston cream pie dessert itself. Delicious. Boyfriend enjoyed a peppermint coffee drink.
I stayed at the Omni Parker House hotel, so naturally ventured to the "hotel bar" for a drink. Patrons were drunk and loud the first night I tried it out, but hey, it's a bar. The second night, however, was even more escalated... the point...that I felt threatened because I was seated between two who appeared to want to brawl. I finished my drink and headed to my room, as the bartenders and "bouncer" seemed to ignore it.More
----- Concise Review Boston Creme Pies, Mojitos… and wonderful service! ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday...evening to Sunday, but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Friday we explored Boston, focusing mostly on the Freedom Trail. As we drove into town, looking to park so we could walk the Freedom Trail, out of the corner of my eye I saw the sign covering the window… stating that the Boston Creme Pie was first created at the Omni Hotel. I called the hotel and John at the front desk confirmed just that - The Omni is the home of the Boston Creme Pie, they can be ordered dine-in or carry-out, and the restaurant/bar is open until at least 10pm (maybe 11pm). Right away, in the early afternoon, we planned to dine there for dessert after dinner. So after a great afternoon on the Freedom Trail, and a dinner… and time to wait for our son to fly in (he came a day later because of Friday classes he didn’t want to miss), we visited the Omni. The Omni has done a wonderful job welcoming guests who aren’t staying there… there are several tables and high-backed chairs in the lobby near The Last Hurrah to relax and enjoy just sitting or food and drinks. The walls are adorned with a letter from Alexander Graham Bell to his wife hand-written in the hotel, and some nice artwork. And the decorations throughout are classic, especially the doors to the elevators. We ordered three Boston Cream Pies (cakes), two non-alcoholic Mojitos, and two Aqua Panna waters. The (female, Fri 9/10 9pm) server was very friendly and helpful getting our order. She pulled some magic and acquired some mint for our daughter’s non-alcoholic mojito and the bartender made one of the best we’ve tasted. The bartender also helped us with directions to speed us to Logan airport to get our son. The Boston Creme Pies were goooood… white cake and internal creme, topped with chocolate icing. The first one disappeared quickly. We then ordered two more to take with us; intending for before bed in the hotel, but they served well for breakfast instead. The staff was very attentive, already knowing that we needed to depart to pick up our son - thanks! Thank you, Omni hotel! P.S. for parking, there may be closer garages… we just don’t know for sure… we parked in a public garage that serves the Ritz and Equinox exercise club, the entrance is located on Boylston, just next to the St. Francis House, across from Fin’s Sushi ----- ----- -----More
