Friendly informal atmosphere with good service and exceptionally tasty food. We were especially impressed with the “build your board” selection of cured meats (many made in house) and cheeses with house pickle, mustard and bread. It makes a wonderful appetiser.

We came in to see what they had and it was hard to find the front door! Once we did we ordered a few beers and the funghi pizza with pepperoni. Soooo delicious! This was the first stop after we got off the plane from...Nashville and it was a great choice! Recommended.More

We enjoyed the halloumi wrap, margarita pizza and salad. Only two salad options are underplayed on the menu (almost wouldn’t know they are there) but really good. Patio has an uninspiring view but handy to the Back Bay train. Our server was friendly and efficient....Maine Lunch IPA was delicious and thankfully not hazy.More

The atmosphere was casual, the food was great, and the service was fast. Our server was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The wine was good and our order was delicious, we relied on his recommendations and are very glad to have done so.

WOW WOW WOW! Order the spaghetti and you will NOT regret it. Perfectly cooked and so tasty. Their rum is also very good - had a great Dark and Stormy. Great atmosphere and service to top it all off. Brussel sprouts were FIREEE!

I love Salty Pig: great wines, great combos of platters, good service. I always enjoy the cheeses and salami plates - very fresh and interesting pairings. Good service. A great place to stop before catching the Amtrak at Back Bay station.

I haven’t been here in many years and was happy to return with a group of people. When I ate here many years ago, I wasn’t impressed, however, this time I am! We all had a variety of pizzas. I had a margarita pizza. All...the pizzas are personal size and range from $15-$20. My husband ordered a side salad, which was a nice portion and a bowl of pasta. The quality of food this time around was excellent. The host and server staff were friendly and welcoming.More

Fun place for anything from a birthday dinner to just takeout! We loved the make your own board appetizer option. Ours included three sisters (soft) cheese, manchego cheese, prosciutto and chorizo, olives, honey, almonds, and strawberry-rhubarb mostardo. The gnocchi with mushrooms and peas and the...bucatini with amatriciana, bacon, and pecorino were both great. My sister enjoyed her dairy-free sausage pizza with arugula (but no cheese). My favorite item was the margherita pizza – so good! We were also happy with the environment and experience. (visited 6/4/21)More

Got into town late and Salty Pig is open later. It was quite crowded at 10 pm when we arrived. We shared the meatballs, I had the margarita pizza and my daughter had a pasta dish with chorizo. All the food and service was excellent....The meatball was superb, and the pizza was crispy and wonderful. My daughters pasta was quite good. I had the drink of the day which was a wonderful margarita.More

Food quality continues to excel at the Salty Pig. Charcuterie is excellent, as is the pizza. Sadly, service was off, though adequate, not at the level usually delivered.

We were in the mood for charcuterie and Salty Pig was superb. A great assortment of clean and fresh meats and cheeses, artichoke tapenade, honey, pickles. Definitely add the marcona almonds and staff were super friendly and gave us pork rillette on the house. Surprisingly...good regional beer selection as well on tap.More

I don't know if they had a gluten free menu but there are enough selections on the menu with salad, fresh cheeses and charcuterie. I don't know if any of their pizzas are gluten free.
