Just steps from the Boston Common, T.C. is truly located in the pulse of the city. This shop has a cozy, enjoyable ambience with great customer service. Loved their Vanilla Ginger Latte. It has the intensity of coffee, the creaminess of milk and the spiceyiness...of ginger.More

With an excellent view of the commons and a varied menu for a coffee shop, this was a nice start to the day. Pastries, biscotti, oatmeal, and some breakfast sandwiches, coupled with some pretty darn good coffee. We found a small table ("old" newspaper embedded...in the top) and enjoyed a quick breakfast. The staff here was friendly, everyone wearing a mask, quick to serve us, and got everything correct.More

I am a tour guide for Boston. I go in every morning before I do my tours and get a cup of tea. The staff in there are always pleasant and fast with service. Even though I am dressed in 18th century clothing, they don't...miss a beat!! Awesome !More

I visited here several times during a brief stay in Boston. The lattes were very good and the Boston cream tart was delightful!

We spent our first morning in Boston here. It was cozy on a rainy morning. Good breakfast options to include breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal with toppings, bagels and lattes.

We noticed this little place while walking around the Back Bay and went there for breakfast. What a great place and what a great price. A rather extensive menu, great coffee and a nice pastry selection. Highly recommended.

I recently visited the Thinking Cup and ordered the B.A.L.T. (bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato) sandwich, along with a medium caramel latte. Both were extremely delicious - especially the sandwich! However, due to COVID there were only three tables available inside, and all three were...taken up with people just sitting and sipping hot beverages. I don't know if there was a time limit, but I had to eat my sandwich outside, in 20 degree weather. I would have assumed that if you'd ordered food, you'd be given preference for a table inside. That's the only reason this establishment didn't earn five stars.More
