I liked the atmosphere of this restaurant, the coffee was very good and there are a lot of loyal customers, correct price and quality service.

Found this place as an alternative to the few restaurants open for lunch (not brunch) near The Boston Opera House on Washington St. in downtown Boston. We grew weary of the fare, the cost, and the long wait in the few places nearby. What a...find! We’ve had to wait up to 15 mins in line, and juggle for a place to sit (will be easier in better weather as there is outdoor seating), but the sandwiches are tasty and different. I had fig and Brie, and enjoyed every morsel. There is a pitcher with cold water along with a huge variety of coffees...a pleasant, tasty alternative to sit-down restaurants in the area.More

The people here were very kind and helpful, but I found the ordering process a bit confusing and rushed, then I was at a bit of a loss as to where to wait for my order. The food was ok, but the coffee was not.

We stayed at the hotel that is transforming into the Indigo. Since the kitchen is not complete, they offered us free vouchers to this location for breakfast. They have pretty good breakfast sandwiches with many bread options. Some sandwiches seemed a bit greasy...just depends on...the type of meat you place on your sandwich. Overall, a good breakfast spot with fast service.More

Horrible. Went on a Sunday morning around 9:30--quiet, near empty. First bad sign. 3 women behind the counter, only one register going. A line now forming, but no one interested in helping customers. When we do get served, you'd think they were doing us a...favor. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, couple coffees. Coffee was old, muddy--and we are coffee junkies so we know old bad coffee. Table next to us asks counter where their food is. Bad sign 2. One breakfast sandwich shows up maybe 7 min later, the other is nowhere. I wait a couple minutes to see if it will appear, doesn't, so I go up to ask. Confused looks. "I didn't hear you say that," meaning she wasn't listening when she took my order. To be expected when you hire folks who clearly could care less about being there, who move and behave like a stoned hangover. This place clearly benefits from its location near hotels and theater district. As a tourist, I warn others visiting in this area to not go there if you want to avoid aggravation. There are Starbucks and Dunkin' locations all around, and as much as I like to support local business and absorb local experience when traveling, this place gives Boston a bad name.More

We had vouchers for breakfast for 3 mornings at the Canal Street cafe while our hotel kitchen was being renovated. It is a carry out with a spacious eat in option. Breakfast choices consist of any combination of the usual breakfast staples (eggs, bacon etc)...in sandwich form on a choice of breads, including sourdough which we had. There are also other more healthy options such as yogurt, muesli, fruit salad and others. A variety of tea, coffees, bottled juices and other choices. Most people take carry out but it also has a decent sized sit down area which we used. Service is fast and efficient.More

We had a 6 hour layover in Boston and wanted to make the most of our time so we decided to take a water taxi into the city to explore the historic sights! While in Boston Commons we wanted to stop for breakfast and from...inside the park looking towards the street it looked like our only option was Dunkin Doughnuts, which I’m not a fan of. Luckily, I decided search for alternative places and found that the Boston Common Coffee Company was just a quick walk away on a side street. The food was great and the tea and coffee were phenomenal! The staff were very nice too. It was a very chilly day in November so we were grateful to warm up and enjoy a nice hot breakfast!More

I seached TripAdvisor for “kombucha” nearby. This place has Aqua ViTea kombucha on tap, in four cup sizes!

This place is a bit hidden, but worth the search. We liked it so much the first that we decided to go back again the next day. When it's all said and done, it's a coffee shop like thousands of other coffee shops around the...world. But, it is a good coffee shop.More

I visited this restuarant because it was close to my hotel. I didn't expect much by it's appearance but boy was I surprised. The coffee was excellent, as was the hot chocolate. Added a few pastries to our order and it was all good.
