Late in the evening Duke’s Barefoot Bar is always our first stop after the long flight from the mainland. It’s a great introduction to the island with a nice stroll along the beach walk with the torches lighting the way and the waves lapping on...More

Really great place for dinner very close to Lihue airport. Perfect last meal before on overnight flight to the mainland. Great Views of surfing and the mountains. Nice fish selection, decent salad bar and the hula pie is the best !

Downstairs. Lunch. Local fish. Absolutely amazing. Very fresh sprinkled with something I can't remember. I think it was seaweed. A bit pricey for portion size but very, very good.

We had 2 great visits to the downstairs bar which is right by the beach. You can watch the surfers from your table. Happy hour has great beer and mai tai specials. I'd rate the bar a 5. We ate dinner upstairs and were disappointed....More

Right on the beach beside Marriott resort on Kanapali beach. Delicious fish, calamari & hula pie! Prices comparable.

Great place to eat. Food was really good. Atmosphere is awesome. View of the bay from almost everywhere on the second floor. Also loved the indoor waterfall. Our server was also very helpful with descriptions and suggestions. Great place to visit.

Duke's is a nice place so next to the Marriott on Kanapali Beach that you might confuse it for being part of it. They serve the usual beach fare with nice drinks. Local bands play decent covers. We loved the chicken sandwich and preferred it...More

Sorry but I have no idea. I live in Australia. I would suggest sending Duke’s an email, or check out their website.

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
