This spot is in a great location. Great coffee and bagels. Understaffed and will put up a sign to let you know they are trying to catch up on orders. Limited seating.

Great option for breakfast early-ish on a Tuesday morning. Breakfast burrito was tasty and filling before going hiking. Cold brew coffee was fantastic. Service was fine and food arrived quickly. Took a muffin to go for a snack later, which was also tasty.
I used to like this place. However today I had a very different and frustrating experience. I just wanted a juice and a cappuccino and at first most of the ingredients for the juices I wanted were unavailable and then waited at least half an...hour for my juice and coffee. First the cappuccino was brought in a paper cup though it was clear the order was not for take out but at a table in the restaurant. Then they made the coffee all over again, and ten more minutes later the apple and ginger juice arrived looking like it was a tomato juice and I was told the color was from the juicer not being cleaned adequately and it was the color from other fruit. Very encouraging indeed. There were four people serving a handful of customers and my two drinks came later than all the customers who came after me. So unprofessional!More
It seems like everything in this town is closed until 11:00am, so it was such a relief to finally find a place that had breakfast service! The menu is simple, but that’s part of its charm! The kids had the normal breakfast with smoothies, and...the adults had Banker’s Sandwich and a bagel. All were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! The service was so polite and everyone behind the counter was very helpful as we figured out what kinds of dietary needs we had to meet. I would absolutely come again if we were ever in the area!More
I'll admit that we were staying at the Hotel 24 South, which offers its own buffet breakfast for $15 a person. However, that seemed high for my husband and me, since we don't usually eat all that much food at breakfast. We walked over to...Cranberry's and walked past the store to the back, where there were a few tables and a counter. I got the Nice Normal Breakfast and my husband got the Breakfast Burrito. Both were good. In fact, I dare say the bacon I had at Cranberry's was the best bacon I've ever eaten. Usually bacon repeats on me, but not this bacon! The amount of food was also just right for us, but we could have had a muffin too if we'd really wanted to. We were pleased with our breakfast and would gladly come back.More
We have eaten at Cranberry's several times during our visits to Staunton. But on our recent visit, the service was terrible. We waited 35 minutes for our food and only after prompting a server twice was I advised that our order for which I'd already...paid had not been prepared. We finally received our order in a paper bag and ate it on site within the few remaining minutes we had before our theatre engagement. No major apology and adequate explanation from the staff. Some places would have made a more robust effort to make sure that we returned and didn't write a critical review! I think we'll try other little nearby eateries the next time we are in Staunton.More
I was on my way back from SW VA and needed a quick eat,I hadn't eaten anything since Breakfast and it was now 4:15pm) This place has healthy food options and I ordered a Queen City Egg Sandwich.Spinach, egg,Vegan mayonaise, avocado, cheddar cheese and tomato...on Multigrain toast. It was good , ingredient's were fresh. Healthy grocery store items ,vitamins in the store as well.More
We needed to catch a tour so we opted for a quick breakfast. I got the Black Bean Wrap, but on greens. I know it doesn't sound like breakfast, but it was delicious! One of us did get a traditional bacon and eggs. It was...very good too! I always stop in here when visiting Staunton. I would not miss it!More
I like that the open at 7:30! I had the Mexican burrito and I asked to just have it in a bowl without the tortilla and accommodated that ! My husband had the Queen City egg sandwich. Both were very yummy as was my chai...tea. Nice place.More
Not your typical little grocery store. Very worthwhile stop. Had been before just shopping. This time had breakfast which was good. We did bagels with smoked salmon. Great place for some different type of things and breakfast.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading out. I had a rye bagel with chive cream cheese (really Philly cream cheese in the individual serving) and the hash brown casserole. Both were good. Husband had the lox and bagel and loved it. Not a...big menu selection but everything looked good when it was served. The restaurants is in the back of the little grocery store in a historic building so the charm was very nice.More
Very disappointing. Had breakfast which was mediocre. Great place for apothecary needs. Husband here before and feels like it was an off day.
There is not a ton of options within walking distance downtown for breakfast and very few are open early. We tried this little place and it is cute and cozy but if you are looking for a full on breakfast, the options here are limited....Check the menu before you go so you can make an educated choice. We had a quiche and an everything bagel with two coffees for about 20 dollars. The food was good enough and coffee was very good, except they only had organic options as sweeteners.More
What a fun little place! We didn't know where to get a nice sit-down breakfast in town. This was the place if you love old stores and great friendly service and excellent food. Would easily go here again.
We made a point of shopping and eating locally while staying across the street. Unfortunately my husband neglected to check the expiration dates on the items he bought and came home with three items past date. Opened the hummus and found it separated and sour...and found the lettuce to be dry and wilted. I did not bother to open the cheese given the date was so long past. I called immediately and was told they were open until 6- it was 5:25. Explained the situation and was told we could return the items, but when my husband walked across the street in the next two minutes the door was locked and they waved him away from inside. We also bought wine which was lovely, but it was very disappointing and frustrating to throw away both money and food.More
