KIRIN ASIAN CAFE, South Riding

I just spent over 80.00 at this spot in South Riding to go home and find hairs in my food. I ordered vegetarian spring rolls and received pork in my spring rolls. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner who began her conversation...yelling at me. She proceeded to tell me that she did not believe me and told me to come back with the food. She can come to pick it up as it is all in the trash. What kind of customer service is this? They screwed up and she is yelling at me! Not only totally disgusting by the hair being in each and every meal (we ordered six) but the pork think is a biggie for us. Never will go back. By the way, Kirin Asian owners, try fixing a problem and not yelling at customers. May help your business. Disgusted..More

Generic American Chinese food

I got pick-up Kung Pao chicken and it's exactly what you'd expect from a little Chinese place in a little shopping center. Nothing special, but not bad at all. Excellent contactless COVID take-out though.

My go to for Chinese in South Riding

Consistently good food. Particularly like the steamed dumplings, the wonton soup and the Mongolian chicken but the fried rice and noodle dishes are consistently good too.

Best Chinese food in the area!

Kirin is a family friendly restaurant with optional take out available. The service is friendly, the food is good and quick! We have never ate in the restaurant (although it is cute) but always got food to go. It is properly packaged to keep it...hot and quickly prepared. We call ahead on the way home from work and in 10-20 minutes (depending on the day) it is ready when we get there. My favorite is the Hunan chicken. After trying every other Chinese food restaurant in the area, this is the go-to Chinese restaurant in South Riding!More

Stomach Pains

Five stars all the way excellent food excellent service great price

Decided to hit a local spot during the ice and snow storm and we were the only ones in this place and the owner gave us incredible service made great suggestions on the menu the food was phenomenal completely fresh didn't taste fried or greasy...all the vegetables tasted fresh I love to support a family-owned local business and this is possibly the best Chinese food I've ever hadMore

I order delivery from Kirin quite a lot. It's just about the only Chinese restaurant I do order from. They make it to my specifications every time, because I do not like onions and ask that they not include them. And they don't. I have...no complaints!More

Happy Surprise!

Clean, great service, friendly staff (both husband and wife). She told me not to drink the tea at night if I have trouble sleeping when I asked for decaf. Such a sweetheart. Crab Rangoon was very good as was the Hot & Sour soup. I...had the Kung Pow Chicken and asked for white meat, she was happy to accommodate and it immediately became a favorite!More
