Angelos has been around for a long time. Last time we ate here was at least 20 years ago when we owned property in the area. We were passing through Montross recently and this appears to be the only restaurant in town opened on a...Saturday. 20 years ago it was mostly a pizza place. Now they server seafood, too. My grilled chicken salad was delicious and so appreciated the just-grilled chicken. You rarely see that any more. The fried oysters were delicous too. The setting is very casual. But the service was excellent. And the food a great value. I'm giving them an "excellent" for great food and being the one of the few places to eat in Montross.More

Delicious cheesesteak and pizza. Will definitely go back and try more of their menu items. The waitress was attentive and our food arrived quickly. The only complaint I have is that the table could have been cleaner. The napkin box was very dusty and there...were many crumbs between the two tables that were pushed together.More

Midweek getaway to explore the Northern Neck area. Had received a heads up about this place so decided to try it out. Glad we did. Seafood was outstanding, especially a mussels appetizer and a main course of mahi-mahi, which was a huge portion. Impressed with...taste, portion size and price. Plenty of daily specials. Food was so good we went there the next day and enjoyed a seafood combo and chicken parm to try out an Italian selection. Highly recommend for the food, place is not fancy.More

Don’t Recommend going here at all. Took my wife here tonight for dinner and sat for 15 min while 3 different waitresses ignored us as they continually walks by our table. We did not stay for dinner and walked out. Told owner on way out...that their service sucked and she simply said have a nice night. This was not my choice to go there tonight but my wife wanted to give them another chance. This is the fourth or fifth time the service was horrific. The food is overpriced and mediocre on their best night. The place is dirty and usually smells like fish. We will not be going back for sure.More

Food is good but, the Staff is not very friendly and from what I observed not very safe with COVID procedures or food prep safety. Bearded employee not wearing net while preping food. We are in hard times for restaurants right now but, this was...not a good experience. Could be poor management skills in my opinion.More

Always a go to for lunch or dinner when in Montross, Va...Raw Bar opens at 5:00 PM for some of the best prepared seafood in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Try the Brian Oliff Oyster dish. Crab Cake; Pizza; the best side salad you have...ever had!!More

you wouldn't expect an Italian restaurant to excel in seafood, but they do! My husband can not get enough of the oysters.Their pizza and baked spaghetti is also very good. Salads have always been fresh. They could definitely improve their garlic bread...not enough garlic and...not a real Italian bread. But that doesn't stop us form going there for the past25 years!More

Looking for a bit of lunch. The restaurant that was recommended was closed so I checked out Trip advisor and found Angelo 's Restaurant. Great place to eat a lot of options. The only problem was choosing what to try.

Recently visited this restaurant after work and found the comfort meal we were looking for. We both had the hamburger steak dinner. The portion of the meat was excellent. Both of our meals were cooked to perfection with a nice brown gravy on the side....The baked potatoes were large and well done. The side salad that came with the meal was very fresh with some really nice tomatoes in it. The garlic bread slices were very small portions, but tasty. Because of the meal size, we skipped dessert.More

Met family here for dinner on a Friday night. Taylor was our waitress and she was fantastic. We ordered 2 pizzas and cold beers and wine. The pizzas were very tasty. The service was great. Restaurant had a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening....More

This restaurant had been around for a long time. Husband and I were taking a leisurely drive down the coast and stopped in for dinner. We were early so not much of a crowd on a Wednesday evening around 4:30 p.m. The pizza was good...(lots of cheese) and flavorful. It wasn't the best I had but above average. We also shared a Greek salad which was large. The Italian dressing was a bit disappointing. The menu said it was homemade so was expecting something special. It looked like oil and vinegar with a few spices. The waitress was friendly but forgot to bring husband's wine until we reminded her. Not a lot of competition in the area for restaurants. Probably would go again if in the area but wouldn't drive out of my way to get there.More

I meet some old co-workers here once a month and have always had good service. My favorite is the white pizza. They also run good specials daily. Love it!
