Ciao Osteria is an authentic Italian eatery featuring delicious entrees and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas made completely from scratch. Our goal is to serve true traditional Italian recipes made with the freshest, most authentic ingredients available, while making sure our guests are treated as family at our table. Finished a travel soccer game and this was the #1 pizza joint in the area on TripAdvisor so ordered this pepperoni and sausage pie and a lasagna to take home. Both excellent. You can definitely taste the fresh tomatoes. I had a great feeling when...I arrived and a big fire truck, festively decorated, was waiting outside. If cops or firefighters are eating there, you know it's good!More

We just love this restaurant! The food is always excellent. Last night we had pizza & burrata & it was sooooo good! They also have an excellent variety of wine choices & Brittany the bartender is awesome! The restaurant was safely full which speaks volume...to the quality of food. The restaurant owner is alway there too- check out this place if you haven’t been -you’ll be glad you did!More

Was our first time. We'll be back. This is the BEST. We were returning from the Valley and driving down 66, and decided to have an early dinner before getting home. Looked on Trip Advisor, saw the #1 Centreville, decided to try. Glad we did....Perfect service, Perfect Food. While we were there, the Owner personally thanks patrons and checks with them, as they are leaving. This is a First Class touch; I know it may not always be possible, but a normal practice of this sets you apart. I use this same concept in my work, and it works.More

Stopped here on a very rainy Monday afternoon around 3pm. Most places at this time wouldn’t have any active diners but there were at least 3 tables in full swing. The waiter, Antonio greeted me almost immediately, even if he was the only front of...the house person working, he still managed to handle his tables and me without any visible stress. He took my order for a pizza to go. I was back in my car with my hot pizza within 10 minutes! My pizza was delicious! I’m sure It would’ve been even better if I was able to enjoy it in the restaurant but my dog was in my car and we had a long ride back to Charlottesville! I should mention that I’m from NJ and my mother is first generation American from the Naples area. I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back to Centreville, VA so I can try many more dishes with friends at Ciao Osteria. Very happy to have found this little gem! Grazie! C’è vediamo sicuramente!More

If you are searching for authentic, delicious Italian food, this is unequivocally the place to eat. Oh my word. I simply cannot say enough. I would bypass Little Italy of the Bronx, NYC and Boston to return here. Amazing. Food is plentiful as are choices....Even the pickiest of eaters will be pleased. I cherished every bite. Do yourself a favor and go.More

I have had many things on the menu over the years, none were a disappointment. Sal and Chef Anthony consistently put out the best in everything they do. The food, ambience, specials are second to none. Cio and staff have been extremely generous during this...COVID time by feeding thousands of first responders. If you live in Northern Virginia or plan on coming, get a real treat by getting a really great meal from this authentic Italian restaurant. You will not be unhappy whether it’s food for you or a couple hundred people.More

We were disappointed with our Sunday evening dinner at Ciao Osteria, a restaurant we have frequented often because the food has been so good. Despite having a reservation, six of us were put in a booth making it uncomfortable and impossible to hold a conversation;...the option was to wait for a table to come available. We will continue to visit Ciao Osteria but will stay away from weekend evenings when it is too crowded and noisy.More

Delicious Italian food from wood fired Pizza to Pasta, Veal, Seafood and more. My only comment is to come early or call ahead for reservations as the place gets very busy.

There are better Italian restaurants such as Villagio Trattoria in Clifton. Buy a gift there instead. Sicilians would cringe if they went to Cia Osteria, the food is barely mediocre
