A relatively unknown spot with some traditional and non traditional Mexican dishes. Service at time can be slow, but food is always delicious!

"Mexican Kitchen" - and what a great kitchen! Food is great, usually not busy, and less expensive than Lupe's. But no expense is taken on quality of food. Service was a little slow. But, ambience is good for groups and even small business dinners.
Soto's other kitchen opposite Sienna Plantation on Highway 6; comfy neighborhood atmosphere, consistent great fusion of tastes, does serve beer/wine/mojitos. Intimate seating, maybe holds 50 people inside and a few bistro tables outside.
I adore the Portobello Mushroom quesadillas. The service is wonderful. Chef Maya is excellent at introducing new items without overwhelming the guest.
we have come here for several birthdays. this is upscale Mexican. the margaritas are always good. there are a number of cactus dishes and we like them all as well as all the shrimp dishes.
My family has visited Soto's Kitchen several times and each time the staff is excellent and the food is delicious. It is not a Tex-Mex menu and the cuisine is classical or traditional Mexican.
