Everything we do is with passion for cooking with local flavors. Thanks for visiting us
Doesn’t look anything from the outside and situated the quieter side of the small island of Flores, but the quality was excellent. Had a sublime local soup followed by amazing house crepes.
The restaurant is right across from our hotel. It was late in the evening when we arrived in Flores. Most of the restaurants already closed, we didn't have options.
The light inside the restaurant is dim, can barely read the menu. We used our phone...light to see what they have.
I order a sandwich and my partner lamb meat.
I got two slices of sandwich one filled with chicken and one with vegetables.
The sandwich is delicious, absolutely worth the money. My buddy said the lamb was good too. We pay a total of 188 Quetzales with drinks.
No complaint about the food and the service.
The only complaint we had is the light.
Need more lights inside especially in the evening. Some customers have difficulty reading in dim light.More
We stumbled upon this place by walking the streets of Flores, and we are so glad that we did! The crepes are amazing and the rest of the menu is excellent as well. My partner had some outstanding pasta also. Check it out, you will...be glad that you did.More
We had the pescado blanco, a fish caught locally in Lago de Peten Itza which surrounds Isla de Flores. The service and ambience are very nice. And the food was delicious!
La Danta had a great happy hour and the food was solid as well! Was the perfect meal when we returned from Tikal in the afternoon! Would go back if ever in Flores again!
The food was exceptional. Impressed the first evening with the meal and returned a second night with our group. Food tasted fresh, cooked and seasoned well. From the pickiest of our group to the well-seasoned traveler--everyone enjoyed their picks from the menu, both nights! Great...service, quaint, we even asked about the dinnerware--it was overall, a wonderful experience!More
It was late afternoon and I wanted a cup of coffee and something sweet. I checked on-line and discovered that La Danta had desserts. Thank you La Danta! And it was 2 minutes from my hotel! The service is great and the interior is fun....I had crepes and they were good.More
