Family met here for a 50th Birthday Party - The food was excellent as well as impeccable service. There is a 'Business Casual' dress code, but nothing extreme. Valet parking seems to be the best way (may be the only way) to park here, but...More

The courses for the Valentine’s dinner were all great beginning with an initial oyster chaser. I had oysters as the appetizer followed by the Red Snapper Pontchartrain. For dessert, I had the Creme Brûlée. Everything was very tasty and beautiful in appearance.

It was a bit chilly that morning so the fireplace in our room was a welcome site. The brunch was well prepared. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the bananas foster. The service was attentive without been intrusive.

We've been coming to Brennan's for special occasions for many years. This last visit was really disappointing. The food was average at best. Considering what we paid, I would expect it to be great. The only dish anybody at our table (of 9) came away...More

A consistent fantastic restaurant. After a slight delay in seating everyone, the service, food, drinks were all exceptional. Knowledgeable waiter presenting beautiful and delicious dishes. Could not have been better all around. This place continues to shine. Thanks....

It's difficult to write an honest review when dealing with an old and established restaurant that many feel they need to praise. My wife and I have been multiple times to the original Brennan's in New Orleans---it's an Institution. Brennan's in Houston doesn't come up...More

We found the restaurant to be very old school. This we expected. Overall food was just Ok. nothing special. The turtle soup was good. Wedge salad was very average. Fried green tomatoes were tasteless and while there was a fair amount of crabmeat, it was...More

After Tex mex, massive sandwiches, this New Orleans based a super success. Food really exquisite and excellent. The grilled red mullet, the soup and really good wines.

A taste of New Orleans in Houston. Wonderful, friendly service. The menu was diverse and described the dishes well. Seafood dishes were all good - we shared. The turtle soup and bread pudding were standouts. The atmosphere was classy but not stuffy.

I never sought out vegetarian options until very recently. Brennan's has an excellent kitchen, always eager to please, in my opinion. I would not be afraid to make a special request regarding vegetarian options or anything... More

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
