Be warned - the noise level here prevents serious conversation but the friendly service and menu options make this place a must-visit.

We read several reviews and received several recommendations to come here. Maybe that was our issue. The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was lovely. The food left something to be desired though. We had pancakes and the Fisherman's special breakfast. Neither were...More

Went there for lunch today, for the second time in the past few months, and found nothing had changed. First time had poboy sandwiches. The roll was so stale it was inedible. Decided to give it another try today, thinking it was maybe a one...More

Their specialty is breakfast and lunch. Bakery is well respected also. Only downside is the noise level inside when the restarunt is packed like on Sunday Brunch but they have a delightful patio too.

Fresh food freshly prepared. I ordered a grilled pled cinnamon bun and it came hot and delicious and very sweet. My son had the turkey, bacon and avocado Sandwich and said it was delicious. We stopped at the bakery and couldn’t resist the baked goodies....More

Not a good place for conversations, acoustics are terrible, very noisy. However, have a wide-variety on the lunch menu and bakery is fantastic. Excellent ginger snap cookies!

The wait was a little long on a busy Saturday morning but the food was great and worth the wait. There is a nifty little shop you can buy stuff and lots of local artist paintings all over the restaurant that you can purchase. It’s...More

Great little place and great food. We had the three egg omelette and challah French toast. The omelette was good and came with red fried potatoes which I wish would not have been so greasy. The challah French toast was wonderful with a great flavor...More

We have eaten here before and had good food. The cakes and pies looked delicious, so when I needed a cake for a work event, I called Sunflower first. When I called I was placed on hold a few times before one of the employees...More

Probably before 9:00AM. I was there on a Monday in October so it wasn't that crowded.

I think that Sunflower will customize a cake, if by that you mean decorating one for a special occasion. Pattycakes, a couple of blocks away and also on 14th Street, does customized cakes. Both bakeries are good.
