We were told the wait would be 35-40 minutes, but it was only 15. Our server was quick and friendly. We tried a cup of the gumbo and the crab and corn chowder. Both were excellent. I did the grilled shrimp with one side and...hush puppies. Those were the best hush puppies I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp were grilled with onions and NO OLD BAY, lol. Even so, they were delicious. I didn’t care for the cocktail sauce; not enough horseradish. We also had dessert - you can’t go wrong with the pecan brownie with chocolate ganache and ice cream. One serving was more than enough for two people. So good. I’m glad we chose this restaurant for our Galveston trip.More

We were so much time waiting outside and inside. It was a bit expensive for the quantity and quality of the food. Air conditioning was very high.

We ate here the first day because it was next to our hotel and where had been roaming the beach. We all enjoyed it. So on our last day, even though Galveston has many great options, the kids wanted to come back, so we did....We were here at lunch both times. The first day we ate seafood, except my little one, who had chicken tenders and French fries. There wasn't much we didn't like. My daughter had the gumbo. She really likes gumbo, and really liked this gumbo. The bread that came with it was amazing. My wife and I split a seafood platter that had crab balls, grilled shrimp, fried fish, and fried oysters. Daughter tried a fried oyster and decided she now likes fried oysters. Kids wanted to stop back by on the last day, so we did. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, but no big deal. My wife and I had the chicken fried steak, and kids repeated their earlier orders. Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the service was very good. Not sure when we will make it back to Galveston, but when we do, this place will be on our to-do list. The all-day breakfasts looked good, so we may have to try that next time.More

Everyone was right - this is a great place! We were seated right way, with a nice view of the beach and water from our booth. Service was prompt, efficient, quick and friendly - thanks to Meagan for looking after us so well. We both...had the dinner plate special as it seemed more reasonably sized, hoping we would have room for dessert. Our meals came pretty quickly, and looked as appetizing as they were. Reasonably sized portions, so we did both order dessert - key lime pie for her and peach cobbler for me. The desserts were enormous, one would have been more than enough to share - no wonder Meagan raised an eyebrow when we both ordered dessert. 🤔. We persevered, though, and made our way through both. Great place, excellent food and service, and very reasonably priced.More

Whenever we go to Galveston for a break, we always try to work in a breakfast at Miller's Seawall Grill. Great food and coffee, reasonable prices, friendly staff, what's not to like? THE CROWDS! This time we cracked the code. We showed up at 10:45...- the breakfast crowd was thinned out, and the lunch crowd had yet to arrive. We were immediately seated for a scrumptious breakfast experience. You are welcome!More

We ate a few restaurants while we were in Galveston and this was our favorite. Other places had themes or elaborate decor, and average food at a premium prices. This place doesn't do all that. This place has a huge menu, delicious food and is...priced really well. Also the staff are awesome. They're very genuine and seem to enjoy where they're working. My only regret is that this was the last place we ate at while we were in town, because if it had been one of the first, we'd have just kept coming back here.More

Excellent food. Down home type cooking. Portions are too large so maybe skip the appetizers. First time visit and will return.

Delicious! We had lunch here and all enjoyed our food. Loved that they served all day breakfast as it was also delicious. We were originally looking for seafood and while they had some, the selection was limited. Don’t forget to get the Italian crème cake!...All the food we tried was very tasty and we will be back.More

Wonderful food, service, and the menu has something for everyone. The staff is great and so helpful. The drinks are great as well. The only drawback was the wait. I recommend calling ahead.

Fun and cute seafood spot right on the seawall. Food was delicious and service was fast. It's a casual spot that has apparently been around a while. Beautiful wood ceilings in an older building that gives off seafood vibes. The fried shrimp were fresh and...delicious. We never order gumbo out as it is never as good as the stuff our cajun family makes. However, the waitress offered a sample and it was delicious! It was full of shrimp, sausage, and crab. Great place to grab some seafood.More
