About
Shrimp 'N Stuff Restaurant opened in 1976 and quickly became known as "the place where the locals love to eat." In these past 38 years we have had many guests visiting our fine city from across the U.S. who tell us they wished they had found Shrimp 'N Stuff the first day they arrived and assured us they will be back several times before they leave Galveston.

Shrimp & Stuff has been a favorite for more than 30-years. Sitting along side locals who know their seafood is just a bonus. Tonight I made my own platter filled with golden brown fried catfish, oysters and shrimp. The sides included creamy Cole slaw, buttery...More

A local person recommended the restaurant. The coconut sprimp was very good. The dipping sauce for the shrimp was a honey/horseradish (yum). The salad was just OK. If you are looking for a sit down restaurant with servers this is not the place.

Try the French-fried sweet potatoes with any entrée. Crab balls, catfish, and shrimp are top shelf. Service is faster than anything else on the island (island time is the norm in Galveston). Quality is always consistent and the prices are not unreasonable. Convenient central location.

We stopped by for some seafood gumbo, which I thought was great. We got a decent size bowl for about $6.00. A lot of people were getting fried fish platters and they looked dang good. It’s a small place, it seems pretty old though I...More

This is a great place for lunch or a low-key dinner. The oysters are fried just right - still soft but crunchy. The shrimp were very fresh! This is an order at the counter restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

Good food option for groups with kids. People who like seafood will like the variety of the food and their kids meals are big enough to share. The food was all good value. Pro-tip: The Po-Boy sandwiches are heavy on the lettuce, so opt for...More
