Food was good no problem there. All the issues we had were with parking - terrible, wheelchair access - bothersome and the noise level at peak hours - AWFUL. I enjoy talking to people when we go out together. I do not like shouting. Will...More

Enjoyable breakfast at a restaurant that is not your run of the mill chain restaurant meal or drive thru. Food was tasty and flavorful. Good place to enjoy not only the food and also good conversation. Busy on Sunday but they still get your food...More

Fabulous food here! The mimosas were great, and we tried the cornbread waffles, huevos rancheros, queso eggs benedict...all were excellent. The portions are large, enough for 2 people to share!

We came during the week around 11:30 am and even though it was busy the line moved quickly. You pick up a menu as you come in the door and order at the counter. They give you a number and bring the food to you...More

The food here was great. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast plus coffee and water. Granddaughter had a huge pancake and bacon, daughter had eggs Benedict, hubby had eggs with biscuits & sausage gravy. Would eat here again. 👍

how disappointing...after all the tv hype...the shrimp in my runny grits were the exact same frozen popcorn shrimp I can buy in Kroger. Not one was over the size of a nickel, boiled, maybe grilled, and nothing in the dish was more than room temperature....More

We went for lunch with the whole family of 5. I had the texas eggs and were great! Guys are very friendly, offering good service. They validate parking, which is a plus in Galveston. Recommended. We’ll go again next time in the island.

Go to the cafe's web page. Questions re menu items for brunch & dinner & prices are posted. Also I'd call to make reservations. I'm fairly sure they can accommodate a party of 20-25 guests. BUT, I'd call to make... More

Description
Texas Monthly Magazine - "This bright, cheery cafe located near the Medical Center enjoys a legion of foodie fans. Weekday lunches feature great salads, sandwiches, po'boys, and one of our faves-tacos loaded with grilled fish, crunchy cabbage slaw, and a house-made rémoulade that brings it all together. On the weekends we return for a brunch of fluffy biscuits topped with sinfully rich cream gravy and a pitcher of mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ. Oh yeah."
