Located on a working harbor with a great view of vessels going up and down the channel and dolphins frolicking in the bay. The best seafood and view of the sunset in Galveston. We offer private dining for between 10 and 300, and have accommodated many large functions such as the Commemoration of the USS Fort Worth, many weddings, bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners. We are also within easy walking distance of the Strand on Pier 21.
We stopped here for dinner. Place was not crowded. Ordered raw oysters - off the menu and combo Poboy, with extra tazikini sauce. Bit expensive, portion sizes reasonable (not Texas size). Great friendly staff and quick service
An amazing mid afternoon appetizer and drink and a great water view. The gourmet appetizers were amazing and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very engaging and offered information on the area near the water. Beautiful updated setting.
Dinner at Galveston's wonderful Greek restaurant on the Strand. The menu includes both American food and Greek, but why go to a Greek restaurant if you aren't going to eat Greek food. I had the falafel plate that came with Greek rolls, a Greek salad...More
We stopped in for a late lunch on New Year’s Eve. Only a few customers - the service was prompt and friendly. We tried the hummus (good) , Greek salad with gyro (very good) and the pastitsio (average).
All-in-all, a good lunch. We would come...More
Had a pleasant lunch. The waiters were pleasant. The manager was pleasant and actually managed/led by example by not only tasking/managing the waiters but he also bussed tables as needed -- that impressed me. The food was edible and reasonably priced. I got exactly what...More
We always have a great time and superb meal here. On this visit we tried the Hummus Platter with Pita Bread, Vegetables, and Olives, Grilled Shrimp Platter, Fresh Pepperoni Pizza, and Seafood Melange of Shrimp, Clams, Calamari, and Mussels in Tomato Broth.
Not many times do we give 5s, but this is one we can do so and feel as though it is worthy. The food was excellent, as well as the service. When traveling with a small person, it is hard to tell what they will...More
We are Greek. We have eaten at numerous Greek restaurants across the United States and Greece. For over 25 years, my husband was the bodyguard, Personal Assistant, pilot and driver for a famous country western entertainer. He often dined at Greek restaurants at the various...More
Our evening started out just fine. We were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly on the patio near a heater, as we requested. The waiter came right away and took our order. We were only there to have an appetizer and drinks. The calamari came first...More
