My wife and I visited Polperro's on a Sat evening for a 7:30pm sitting. We chose the shared menu and whilst the portion sizes are on the smaller side we were very happy with the overall menu. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Service...More

Great location for lunch. Has a nice family owned business vibe. Wines are nice with a great variety. I liked the nice little wine cellar. Had a nice feeling about it

Polperro winery and bistro is located in a charming setting overlooking the vines and the vicinity’s lush pastures. We visited on a beautifully sunny afternoon and chose the outdoor covered seating for lunch. It’s menu is reasonably extensive offering both small and larger plates which...More

Polperro is a beautiful restaurant which has been spoiled by its menu. The menu is designed fro sharing but servings are small and the dishes have been altered so much by supposed artistic talent that it loses all resemblance of the main ingredient. We were...More

Beautiful place, great service, good wine, interesting menu, BUT, this is ‘sharing’ as just an excuse for very small serves at high prices. These people serve really tasty and unique food. Fine. But one shouldn’t have to pay $30 for one cannelloni the size of...More

Description
Polperro is nestled among the vines and shaded by ancient Angophora trees on a stunning 25 acre property in the heart of the famous wine region Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula. Our aim is to create a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, and incorporate the seasonal harvests from the estate into the constantly evolving bistro plates. We are committed to an ethos that promotes a relationship between the landscape, the people and the produce. Our approach is to offer fresh, textural & seasonal flavours with an emphasis on where the food comes from and how it is grown. A collaboration between winemaker and chef ensures a new generation of food & wine offerings. There is a strong focus towards casual dining and drinking with service that is both informed and personable.
