We had a blast here!! The food, drinks, and music were the best in town! Everyone that worked here was so nice - true southern hospitality! We can’t wait to go back and visit when we’re in Memphis again!

Although we had a reservation, we were seated as far from the stage as possible, and we got there early. Still good for and had a good time listening to 70's music. I had not been there since the 70's. Also too many kids from...More

We went there in the evening and at first it was not easy to find. But they have parking lots nearby. It seems to be a good part of the city, because in the surrrounding there were several restaurants and shops. We ordered our food...More

The food here is quite good and the prices are very reasonable, but the patio is why we like Lafayette's. We've also heard some really good bands here. The last visit we had the an order of the shrimp and fish tacos and both were...More

I’ve been here before with a friend but last night had the pleasure of sharing it with my guy. The drinks are always on point, with ice water FIRST-which I LOVE. Now the important stuff, the music. ALWAYS a great band!

Description
The music lives on...Some 38 years after going dark, the legendary Lafayette's Music Room returns to the heart of Memphis' revitalized Overton Square. Once again, Lafayette's is the spot to enjoy great food, good local conversation, and some of the best live music in town, seven nights a week. In the South, we are known for great music, but we do some pretty great food here, too. Lafayette's kitchen, led by Chef Jody Moyt, features a variety of southern-inspired offerings - for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch - like po-boys, shrimp and grits, wood-fired pizzas and made-from-scratch desserts. And you can thank Jody's grandma for the Grannie's Chocolate Chess Pie. It's her treasured family recipe that we serve up with love.
