Sadly, this amazing bakery closed last October. The place was completely empty when I called at the beginning of November. I phoned the number on their website to see if they had moved to another part of Drum, but received no reply from my message....More

Stopped in at Baking Birds the other day, WOW! Their cakes and scones were as good as the ones you get down at Fiddler's Cafe Bar. The only difference is that Fiddler's tends to be open a lot more than this place is.

I went 3 times and each time the shop was closed and it looks now that it is permanently closed. Have never been able to try their stuff but heard good things about them. It's a shame as I fancied trying the baking birds.

You cannot beat this little bakery for buns cakes bread and hot pasties. Just wish it opened very early so we could call in every day on our way to work. Good Luck Birdies in your lovely little shop.

The cup cakes are sooooo nice here and the lady who owns the bakers is very nice and helpful! Many flavours to choose from and are worth every penny, which is very cheap compared to city prices
