Have been here multiple times, even during covid and the food and service have always been impeccable.

A favorite place when in Hilton Head. Their food is always delicious, and the service at the outside bar is always 5 star! The fish and chips, the crab dip, and the vegetable risotto with shrimp are AWESOME! Make sure to get the calamari as...well, which has a little kick to it! Poseidon will always be one of our go to places when are in Hilton Head! The food and drink are tops!More

I was so hoping to enjoy this establishment, but it is a hard no for me. We had a group of 8 and the food was just not good. The she crab soup was so salty we all sent it back. The crab leg boils...had absolutely no seasoning on them, potatoes overcooked to mush, & the corn was not done. My salmon was decent, but needed some butter sauce maybe. One person sent their steak back. The Mac & cheese tasted spicy to one person. We were just very disappointed. We spent over 400 even with some of the food being removed. Server was great.More

The steamed mussels were warm but OK. The steamed shrimp came cold, old, chewy. I have been there a number of times when it was wonderful, but not so much anymore, I’m done with this restaurant.

Great fun having dinner and then drinks and dancing up in the patio bar with a full stage. Great band playing. All around a fun experience!

Brought our family guest here for dinner. We have been long time residents on the island and long time fans of Serg Group. We dined Monday, May 1st at Poseidon. Our guest had the broiled Seafood platter. The fish was over cooked along with the...veggies. My husband had the cod which came out cool and over cooked and the veggies were also overcooked. My wedge salad had a HUGE CORE included in the salad...can you imagine including the whole core???? We were SO embarrassed by the whole dinner!! Our server, Kevin, was a delight and I know, you are going to say, why didn't you send it all back, but it was just all too embarrassing .....We have lived here since 2006, but it will be a LONG time before we go back....to Poseidon. I guess the tourists are willing to put up with this.More

We stopped in for an impromptu lunch, sat at a table by the covered outside bar…and enjoyed fabulous food and service by Evan! He recommended the combos, so it was shrimp po boy and chowder for me and a turkey sandwich and she crab gumbo...for my wife. The experience was relaxing and featured a wonderful Lowcountry view!More

Great meal and service. Shrimp and Grits and stuffed flounder were both well prepared, came warm, etc. attentive service. Sat inside no tables available outside. GPS had difficulty finding.

Fantastic food and great service ; we had the combination platter and the stuffed shrimp which were both fantastic. For desert we had the chocolate mousse which was also very good !!

Poseidon was an okay experience. The food was was mediocre and the drinks were watered down. If you aren't looking for stellar it is an okay place to eat it. It was very noisy for dinner.

Noisy, watery drinks served in plastic, not great food, expensive commercial place. There are better on the island

Happy hour is a hit here, with reasonable prices on great oysters and shrimp, both of which we enjoyed. Loved the grouper (both had it) and the plate was full of good food! Flatbread was also a good app. Pecan pie was just ok, and...hated to pay extra for the Ice cream. Matthew is a really excellent server. thanks.More
