Went to a rehearsal dinner here. Staff did an incredible job stayed on top of everything for a group of 40. They served a variety of main dishes and sides. Everything was great and served hot. Want to come back again, just the two of...More

If you like southern cooking you'll love this place. Biscuits are strong, fried okra and fried pickles apps are spot on and the worst thing about the menu is that you can really only pick one meal (you'll likely want all of them). Service was...More

We have just been here for the first time. The menu has a nice southern style to it with quite interesting variations on themes. A friend from New York City had shrimp and grits for the first time here and was quite happy with them....More

The food is always filling, and southern style. I had this before walking around (wobbling around) falls park all day, and then got on an air plane and was still full when I got home!

Everything I’ve had at Tupelo has been very good. Start with Mimiosas, the decadent biscuit with blueberry jam, fried okra and then the big decision of ordering brunch or lunch. You can’t go wrong with either!

Our party of four for lunch was seated promptly at the windows overlooking the plaza. Family seated nearby with two small children provided noisy distractions throughout the meal. Orders for our table were shrimp and grits, the lunchtime special of 1/2 sandwich and soup, salad...More

Had a great meal and specialty cocktails—local beer was very good and specialty margarita was smooth and very tasty (and we are from Texas and know our margaritas). Appetizer Brussels sprouts were delicious and you can’t go wrong with the fried chicken! We would have...More

Cute, overpriced for what it is. A bit over hyped. Fresh food, good for the smaller appetite.... not appealing to carnivores with a healthy appetite.

Very disappointing dinner tonight. We were out with another couple to introduce them Tupelo Honey Cafe. We were very embarrassed we took them there. Two of us ordered pork. We were told they were sold out. Reordered their famous chicken. Waiter came back to tell...More

Description
What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
