The consistency has kept SNOB a favorite for so many years. The BBQ Tuna was lightly flavored and perfect. Sure the place is still decorated like it’s 1990, but it’s nostalgic.

We were advised by one of the local carriage drivers that SNOB was one of the best restaurants in Charleston (he gave us 3-4 names and we liked the menu here the best). We made reservations and arrived on time, immediately shown to our table....More

SNOB (catchy, ay!) is certainly one of the finest restaurants to have crossed my path in all the south. Decor is refined and attractive (and the high ceilings so common in charleston help keep the noise level down), service is helpful and professional and the...More

We got last minute reservations for a Friday and we were so excited. Table was a little late being ready but no big deal. I ordered a pork chop that was to die for! It had goat cheese and some kind of jelly so the...More

My family went to SNOB for the first time last Friday. We were initially given a table near the door - given it was a cool and rainy evening, we just were not comfortable and asked to be reseated. We had to wait a bit...More

When my husband and I travel, we basically eat our way through a city. SNOB was our final of 3 stops as we did drinks and small plates in downtown Charleston - easily tops of the 3. We had clams, quail and the sour cream...More

This is a place that ought to be wonderful. It already has much going for it: ambience, engaging wait staff, recorded jazz classics, an impressive-looking menu. But then there is the matter of the food and its price. We wish we could say that the...More

Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.
