Just say no. We decided to have dinner there yesterday because it was close to our hotel & the photos & menu looked good. Staff is overworked & under-appreciated. Severs really don’t give two 💩💩. Bar was dirty. Fish & chips had no chips/fries upon...delivery. Calamari had no sauce upon delivery. No silverware or napkins — had to ask. F-bomb dropped by lead bartender only a few million times. Manager yelled at her because his drinks weren’t ready (no clean glasses) and instead of him pitching in to help clean glasses, he walked away. Next time in Wilkes we won’t have this place even on our radar.More

We try to go to Miller's once a week. We love it there. The food is great, we try different things. The service has always been exceptional. Our waitress today was Daigalee (hope I spelled it right) and she was so attentive it was above...and beyond. With the way things are today, some people just don't understand when a place is shorthanded because people don't want to work. In the case of Miller's you would think they were full staffed when you have people like Daigalee.More

We were there on the 4th of July. The waitress comes to us and tells us her name. It was something awesome. I have to say the experience was less than awesome. We each ordered soup and a dinner. It took an extremely long time...for the soup to arrive. And the meal came no quicker. My soda had little syrup in it. I pointed it out and the waitress took it to "fix it". It was still low on the syrup. But I did not want to wait any longer. I'm not sure it was a waitress problem or a kitchen issue.More

Stopped for lunch. Not very busy, seated right away. Adam, our server, was very friendly, informative and efficient. The meatloaf and mahi tacos were good. Nice new, clean place, well done!

I ordered a prime rib with horse radish. They were out of horse radish and brought me a rib eye. It was lukewarm. Then they brought me the prime rib. My wife ordered a grilled chicken BLT and a baked potato. The chicken had actual...cold spots and the potato was lukewarm. They redid everything and didn't charge for the sandwich. We were unimpressed.More

Stopped in Wilkes-Barre on our way south. We prefer pubs and this Miller’s Ale House was close to our hotel. Be aware they are only allowed 25% capacity however we only waited 25 minutes on a Saturday night at 5:30. From start to finish all...the staff was so friendly. Our server Allie was exceptional. They have a good selection of draft beer and a menu that has something for everyone. We started with Zingers, boneless chicken fingers lightly breaded. There were at least a dozen sauces to chose from, we had garlic Parmesan. They were delish. Very tender and moist We both had the steak and cheese sandwich,I added mushrooms and peppers. The sandwich was huge and came with a side of seasoned fries. The meat was tender and full of flavor, really outstanding This restaurant was the perfect choice for us.More

I am currently in town visiting family and I decided to Dash tonight because on my last visit here I had Dashed and it was a very pleasurable experience visiting all of the restaurants that use our services and also meeting many new wonderful people....Tonight I recieved an order for Miller Ale house and when I arrived I was told that the order wasn't ready yet even though it was 10 minutes past the pick up time. I decided to wait, it is a Saturday night and all of the restaurants were busy and I understand and I'm sure the customers do as well that the orders may be a little late. I'm standing at the pick up counter watching the T.V. as I'm waiting for the customers order when a young man (Employee) walks up and is talking out loud saying that he is "Done" and that "He has had enough" and that he will "not take it anymore tonight" and he slings an order down at the end of the counter. I don't know what he is talking about or who he is talking to. I'm continuing to watch the T.V. and assuming that if it was the order that I was there for,the employee would hand it to me or place it on the counter near me. A couple of minutes pass and the employee picks the bag with the order in it up and slings it at me and says "Here" in a very rude and harsh tone. At this point I'm both a little confused and shocked. The employee then proceeds to walk back towards the kitchen area of the restaurant and I said "Thank You" to him. The employee then turns around and flips me off and continues toward the kitchen area. As he is going in the kitchen door a female employee is coming out of the kitchen door. I stopped her and asked her if she could give me the Male employees name. She pretended not to know who I was talking about after she had just walked right past him. She then went to the kitchen area and as other employees were coming out of the door I could see the Male and female employee in the kitchen talking. After about 5 to 7 minutes ( making my order now over 20 minutes late) the female employee comes back out and gives me a name. I ask for the manager on duty and as I am talking to her at the hostess stand the female employee goes back into the kitchen and the male employee comes back out and is standing at the pick up counter listening to me describe his actions to the manager and as I am talking he is also talking saying "yep yep" as if the whole ordeal was nothing. The manager just kept saying that she was sorry. She never asked him to stop or to go back to the kitchen. I have never been encountered so much rudeness and disrespect before especially from a business that I am helping bring in Revenue. I will never return Miller Ale House again for business or pleasure. I would really like to speak with the Regional Manager if he or she sees this.More

The place came recommended to me and I don't remember walking out of an establishment in quite a long time. The hostess was friendly and attentive enough sesting me on to a high top next to the bar since the bar itself was locked down....The hostess explained the staff device that sat about a foot high with Need Service request. Something any wait staff can see from either end of the restaurant. This was a Thursday night, it was very slow around 4:45 pm. Still no acknowledgment I was even there...and I don't look like Godzilla even though that shouldn't be a factor. Then two waitresses walked by together chatting without so much as a glance. Really? Why do you bother with the flags? I was in the restaurant business with two of my own. Had I seen that lack of attentiveness or disregard for customers, there would be some remedial training or forced resignations. Restaurant business is tough, you have to do it better.More
