We have been to the Tap room a few times. It's one of our stops while in Pittsburgh. Had the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both where fantastic. More than enough to share. Looking forward to next time we are in town and can...stop again.More
This review is for Elyas's excellent service. We went to the taproom for New Years Eve. The food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere with the DJ was so much fun! But this was all enhanced by Elyas's thoughtful and attentive manner. He was...personable, kind, attentive, and very helpful and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. Thank you!More
The benefit of this restaurant is that it's inside the Omni William Penn, which is a huge hotel, so you can sit on the terrace overlooking the lobby and people-watch. The service was a bit slow, although there was a conference happening and the restaurant...was pretty full. The food was OK - nothing glorious, but acceptable.More
We stay in the Omni and always hope the bar will get better / it doesn’t. The hamburger was over cooked, the fries were not hot and the plate of calamari was limp and not crisp. Overpriced.
Tried tap room while a guest at the omni. Don’t know whether it was a change of shifts or an unexpected large crowd but service was disjointed and slow. When I finally got served and the food came my burger and fries we ok, properly...cooked but nothing special. Atmosphere is nice, beer cold, pretty averageMore
Convenient place to grab a sandwich or light meal and a beer especially while staying at the hotel. Decent inexpensive selections. Typical bar food. Good service.
We had cocktails here the other night and if was very busy. The staff seemed to respond quickly to the crowd and efficiently served the various groups while still being able to make well crafted cocktails.
Sunday night arrival in a town with limited options for a bite to eat. The hotel restaurant was open. Limited selection, but good looking food was being served at tables left and right. We shared calamari...Excellent. And I had a nice Malbec...and gumbo.(not too spicy)...Just a perfect. The service was attentive and friendly. The place is small, so had a pub feel to it. I would go back!More
