We had the chance to stop at Pork & Beans during lunch time, and it was worth considering it during a rainy afternoon. Outdoor and indoor seating availability, friendly customer service, and tasty food. All the staff were wearing masks and taking safety precautions during...this pandemic. During our experience, we ordered the Korean pork belly with shishito peppers, a shareable portion of waffle fries, and pork sandwich. In addition, most plates began around the $15 price range and would say that portion sizes are quite generous due to the amount of meat that you get. Everything was tasted great and would definitely consider it in the near future.More

Nice pub/bar atmosphere with a surprisingly good BBQ and the fix'ins. Their menu on line had a much larger selection of offerings tha. what they actually offered. However, the selection of smoke meats was very good, especially their pastrami brisket. Dont forgot to order the...brussel sprouts and slaw, both yummy sides!More

My family and I were in town visiting my mother who is currently in the Allegheny hospital. We absolutely loved the place, the food was incredible and the music great as well. A couple suggestions, the food could have been warmer and the waitress a...bit more attentive, but the food was just to good, the crab appetizers and the pork bellies and the classic bbq sauce trumped everything. Try it you will not be disappointed... bobMore

A couple of us stopped here tonight for dinner. Three of us got the brisket and one of us got the pork belly with three sides of macaroni and cheese and one side of baked beans. Overall it was just OK. The macaroni and cheese...was the best part of the meal. The decor and the atmosphere was nice.More

The first thing you notice is the decor. It's rustic and kind of industrial. There are plenty of old signs, fixtures and other props to catch your eye. The food is the real star. Everything we tried was very good to excellent. The service was...prompt and courteous and they have a very extensive beer and drink selection. Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu. It's convenient to the cultural district as well.More

On December 19th, 2019 we had the occasion to dine at this facility. The food was very good especially the appetizer wings. However, After reviewing the receipt after our departure we noticed they had changed us for someone else's fountain drinks. Upon arrival at our...hotel we called Pork and Beans and was told that there's nothing they can do about it. That's unfortunate because we would have gone back.More

My daughter and I went in on a Sunday morning on the way to the Steeler game. The place was less than half full, so you would think it wouldn't take very long to get two pulled pork sandwiches. I ordered a beer and my...daughter had just a water. We ordered right away. After a number of people who came in after us were given their food, we asked the waitress where our meals were, and she said it would be right up. 15 minutes later, still no food. We then told her to forget it because we had to get to the game. No apology from the waitress, no apology from a manager, pretty much just a "whatever" response from the staff. I work in Downtown Pittsburgh and had always wanted to stop in this place for lunch. At least now I know I can cross it off of my list.More

I ate here and was expecting really good smoked meat but what I got was meat that had no smoke flavor and the portions were really small. I was surprised to find a rib joint downtown. It has real casual décor, picnic tables, wooden booths, ceiling fans, some outdoor seating, and neon signs. The wings ad greens were good; ribs were good and tender, but a bit salty; and broccoli salad kind...of blah. Good thing that the ribs were falling off the bone, as the knives were useless. There were 4 BQ sauces on the table. I’m not sure which one was my favorite, since I mixed 2.More
