Since I travel alone, I always sit at the bar. The bar was filthy and the female bartender just threw down a napkin and asked what I wanted to drink. She then never spoke to me again. The male bartender finally got my drink. Food...ordered 30 min later. Glass sat empty as he visited with friends. Finally flagged him down for a refill. Mac&cheese with ghost pepper cheese was ordered. No heat at all. Had to order jalapeños. Still no heat and no bartender. Another empty glass and another 20-25 minutes before the bartender noticed. I fly into here once a month. This is my last time here. Strike 2. Won’t be a strike 3.More
We stopped here on our way home from a Funeral in Carnegy. The place is large and it was busy but we got seated right away. It was pretty cold and drafty in the restaurant. The menu was not very big and didn’t have a...ton of variety. I like a lot of different foods and had a hard time finding something I wanted. I finally settled on the pirogies, which was under the dinner entrees, it was just six small pirogies and nothing else, super disappointing….Pretty bland and small portion. Everyone else had burgers, which everyone said were average. Prices were not cheap and service was slow…wouldn’t go back again if I was in the area.More
Ate lunch at the bar. Service from bartender frank was poor and he was rude. We got the burger and fish & chips and they were both tasteless. Bartender didn’t ask us about our food so no corrective action could have been taken. Overall wouldn’t...recommended coming here which is unfortunate because I’ve come in the past and it’s been not bad.More
I was greeted promptly by the bartender, but she was so busy I had to ask every time I needed my glass refilled. What made it worse was the manager standing with his arms crossed while the dirty glasses piled up. The bartender spent more...time bussing than waiting on customers! If the manager would have helped her clean up, I could have gotten prompter service and would have left my server a better tip! Shame on those lazy managers! It's Robinson, there are lots of other restaurants that will appreciate my business.More
This is a great local place with a really interesting (and roomy) setting. Either at the bar or at tables, service is very good and wait staff knowledgeable. Haven't ordered anything here that wasn't very good (this round, big pretzel, flatbread pizza, a few burger...and perogies). Parking on the street wasn't too hard to find.
Only one complaint, the music is so very loud the waiter had a hard time hearing us and conversation is basically yelling across the table. They could crank it back a notch.More
Very cool atmosphere and amazing food!! Our waitress was Nicki and she was awesome!! So sweet and attentive! You have to get the truffle fries with bleu cheese and Buffalo sauce! Also, beware…the Mac and cheese is enough to feed a family!
Was here over the weekend and was very impressed! The building and atmosphere is fantastic! Hit the industrial vibe perfect. Have to say I wasn't the biggest fan of the beer selection. Probably 3/4 IPAs, only one lager, and most of the rest was darker...beers. Glad they had Yuengling on tap though!
I got mac n cheese with the cajun chicken on top. And it was some of the best mac n cheese I've had! And the chicken was absolutely perfect! Awesome cajun flavor, and cooked just right. The portion was HUGE! I'm a big eater, and could have easily split this with a second person. I'm not kidding when I say plan to either share it, or be prepared to take half or more of it home with you!
Overall, if in the area again, I'd definitely come back. The menu looked great, plenty of beers to try, and one of the coolest atmospheres I've seen in a long time! 4 Stars instead of 5 for not having much other than IPAs on the beer menu. Otherwise it would definitely be 5! My waitress had only been there about a week, but she was already very knowledgeable and service was great! Food came out in a good amount of time, and beers were refilled quickly!More
Originally from London, I always look for a taste of home. Fish and chips here are by far the best and closest to the authentic taste in London that I’ve come by in my 20+ years of being here. Phenomenal!!!!!
