Last time I ate here the food was mediocre and they forgot to add tzatziki sauce to the gyro and it was dry and unappetizing. Don't order soup unless you like heavily spiced. Ordered chili and it was so spicy I sent it back and...asked for seafood soup which was also way too spicy. Did not eat that one either. Seems to me they could come up with some healthier alternatives for those on low sodium and low carbs.More

Wonderful waitress (and what appears to be good prices.) However, after being served meals that were obviously prepackaged frozen food that they fried (or microwaved) and plated, we felt our meals were actually overpriced. I think a sandwich or traditional breakfast may have been a...better choice. Maybe next time.More

Trip advisor review steered us wrong… maybe if we had breakfast…my husband ordered the philly cheese steak which was fine but had sauce in it. His fries were horrible. I ordered a salad which was good, zucchini sticks which were fried but were okay, fried...eggplant which was not good at all, and potato pancakes which were really onion pancakes and were not good. I only ate a few bites of the eggplant and pancake. Service was good - it’s a diner…I didn’t really see any local food. I’d never eat here again and can’t understand how it has such a high ranking.More

I want to thank the owners and management of this restaurant. It is the best place I have gone to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff is friendly and they allow us to feel "back to normal" again. Sure, they allow a...table between groups, and they encourage visitors to wear until seated, but those are the only reminders of the past. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it was obvious that everyone enjoyed being there. Our overall health is more dependent upon getting back to "normal" than it is on wearing masks and maintaining "distance", and we thank you for making this possible for us again.More

This used to be a favourite but I won’t be patronizing them anymore as they are defying state orders for safety during the CoVid19 pandemic. They are recklessly endangering their patrons for a profit which is unacceptable.

It was a great family restaurant years ago ... and it's a great family restaurantnow (even with COVID-19 precautions). Server was knowledgable and very personable. Social distancing mean empty tables between us and other customers. Menu has lots of "down-home" items. Prices are low-moderate. It's...a great place! Try it!More

We stopped here based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and it was an excellent choice. Huge menu of unusual, German inspired, and traditional offerings. Prices are reasonable, portions are predictably huge, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

We went with a large group (20 ppl) around 1 on a Monday. Waitress was super friendly. Food for some of us was “pretty good”. Others said it was “meh”. The people that ordered lunch thought it was pretty good. Breakfast eaters said “meh”.

Pulling up to this family restaurant with a car-ful of friends didn't exactly inspire ooos and aaahs and thoughts of the great food that waited for us inside. However, due to great reviews on Trip Advisor, and being really, really hungry, we decided to not...judge this book by its cover. We were definitely in for a surprise in a positive way. The menu offered traditional food and some eclectic choices. We ordered a variety of lunches and everyone agreed that their lunch was delicious! Prices were reasonable, too, and the waitstaff perfectly attentive. In the end we were so glad we had stopped and not passed by this delicious little gem!More

It would be highly dependent on traffic time wise. I would probably choose something a bit closer unless I was headed West on Route 30 anyway.

15 Miles - Take Rt. 30 West to Centerville Rd, make a right at ramp, then go 2 traffic lights & then make a left on Marietta Ave, then go 2-3 miles & it is on your left - small place
