So we arrive after driving from Sydney and the booking made a week in advance wasn’t there. Bonus points to the accomodating staff who managed to find us a table however they didn’t seem surprised when I explained who I made the booking with it...wasn’t there. Part of the meal was forgotten despite it being read back to us by the waitress when she took the order. Sherpa bread interesting and perhaps there was some miscommunication between description by the waitress as to what it was vs what was served up. Ordered some wine by the glass which really could have been anything and question it’s refrigeration. Food wasn’t bad but not outstanding. Probably a little more forgiving taking into account my level of fatigue but probably think twice about returning should we visit here again.More
Went to this place on a personal recommendation. The food was OK but a bit overpriced. When my wine glass was served with a fly in it the waiter said it must have flown it. No apologies - just rudeness. Won’t be back
We eat Indian food a lot so we were excited to try this restaurant as it had pretty good reviews. I don’t know if we went on an off night however I can safely say the Kathmandu kitchen was so very underwhelming. We ordered butter...chicken & beef vindaloo. The flavour was lack lustre & the quality of the meat was not there- just tough meat.
Do yourself a favour & go to Kahani instead! They are a world apart !More
This place was great. They were so busy the night we visited but we didn't have to wait long for our order - 15 minutes. In the time it took our order to arrive they did about 20 takeaway orders. Reasonably priced. Lovely, friendly staff.
Pretty average dinner for above average price. Mixed entree was a disappointment... 4 small pies of lamb. Didn’t even get the taste with such a small serving. Curries were pleasant but tasted the same. Sherpa bread was such a small serving. Surcharge for paying by...card... really in these times when people don’t want to handle cash.... need to re-evaluate this chargeMore
