I was in the area for a conference, The conference hotel was sold out, so I stayed at the Travelodge. The Bronx Bar was my choice after a very long day. The Dinner Salad was fresh and tasty: the artichoke hearts were perfect, the feta...cheese was fresh, and the homemade Italian dressing was very flavorful. The wait staff were accommodating and pleasant. The Bronx Eatery was a comfortable way to end the day! I recommend it!More

We stopped in for a bite to eat on the way through the area, it was right off the freeway and had good reviews. The place was empty at 2 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon and the waitress seemed irritated that we showed up. She...had a grumpy old lady attitude, which can be charming in its own way, but multiple times we felt like she was hurrying us to leave, and irritated that she had to bring us food, drinks, our change..... We got a pizza, it was wonderful! No complaints about the food at all. Had it been based on food alone, my rating would have been 5 stars. We won't be back.More

Food was OK - if you're staying at the Travelodge and want somewhere close to eat, this place is definitely fine. If you're travelling and looking for somewhere to eat, pass by this place! Ambience is OK, but nothing special. Soft drinks seemed to be...very watered down. Pizza was good. Dinner salad was poor value. Would eat here again, but only if I was at the Travelodge and didn't want to go anywhere else!More

The chicken Alfredo was amazing!! The staff were wonderful to sit and chat with while waiting. If staying in the travelodge, you can order from your room and they will call your room when your order is ready.

Stayed at attached Travel Lodge and ate with discount from hotel. It's a great little bar and eatery with good service. It's clean and decor is well done. Also right off the highway but tucked into a little green park like environment.

This place is a really unexpected delight. The food was delicious and the service was just right, attentive, but not intrusive. First off, it has lots of windows and is brightly lit. The bar is at the far end, so it is a perfectly acceptable...place to take your well mannered youth, and still get to have a drink with your meal. Secondly, the food was freshly prepared, with house made dough and sauce for the pizzas and calzones, lasagne and the yummy chicken parmesan with pasta. A great facsimile of east coast Italian, without the rude attitude...smile.. They also have long hours 11am -11pm and open every day, so if you are driving out the gorge to shop or show visitors the falls, you can count on getting a meal here on your way out or back. They have an extensive menu of food and drinks. Even a kids menu. Lastly, it isn't in Troutdale, it is in Wood Village. Exit 16 off I84. It is on the front side of the Travelodge. The exit west of the outlet mall. It is on the north side of the highway, and the street t-bones right into their parking lot. Definitely recommend this place!More

Good service; food is not too bad. Salads were good and generous. Stay away from "house wines". Bit of a rough look.
