Without reading the menu you think they might serve burgers, fries, etc. The food is prepared beautifully, and taste great. The seafood was some of the best we have had in years. We experienced a great meal and definitely will go again when in the area. Wonderful setting, located in town on a hill that allows for a great view of the charming town. The wait staff was attentive, and made us feel welcome upon arrival. Full bar and Great Food.

Depending on where you park, you will get some exercise getting to Three Rivers Grille! We started with the artichoke dip, it was very tasty. My wife said her Hallibut was ok, not bad but not great either. I had the beef tips with shrimp as an add. The beef tips were tough and the shrimp was so overcooked I could not eat them. I finally flagged the server down and explained the shrimp to her and she promptly had them replaced and removed from the bill. The second time around the shrimp were excellent.

Too much It seemed like a fun place to eat, good view, etc. Ordered the tenderloin (which was good) but it sat on top of some kind of mashed potato with a very strange spicy sauce. I couldn't eat the potato and tried to scrape the sauce off the vegetables. Also ordered a "small" Caesar salad that seemed more like a large, very little dressing so asked for more. Not quite our cup of tea.

We set up a reservation, being that we traveled to get here and we were also celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. They set us at a window seat overlooking the city/river views. The meal was met in your mouth good. I had the hazelnut crusted chicken and my husband ordered the Cajun seafood and andouille sausage pasta. It was delicious. The staff was very kind, quick to refill our water, even made my husband some fresh decaf coffee. The bonus was that they brought out a complimentary flourless chocolate cake for us to share. It was delicious.

One of the few places I found in Hood River that's worth eating at. I was served by an absolutely Charming women that went by the name of Rose. I will return to this restaurant largely due to her service. Shrimp Lobster cakes were typical for crab cake type appetizer. Tasted more like bread crumbs and red bell pepper. Pretty standard. The calamari was one of the lightest and crispiest I've had. Perfectly cooked sweet and tender. The Chicken alfredo was served with radiatore pasta. A refreshing twist. Packed full of other ingredients, it had unique flavor profile I enjoyed. Normally I would have ranked as a four-star restaurant but, considering the Fantastic service and the beautiful venue, I gave the full five stars

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and luckily the full menu was available also as our son doesn't like turkey. He had steak/frites and was happy. Very high quality American food, nice local wines and draft beer, great service -- we generally don't expect much of food when traveling but we were pleasantly surprised. One thing I really appreciated is that the tables were spaced out nicely for privacy and the music wasn't too loud, you could actually have a conversation with your companions. Prices were reasonable by (by LA standards) my only annoyance was being charged $5 for a basket of (good, warm) sourdough bread. Yes, lots of restaurants are doing this and guess what, that doesn't make it a good idea. We had Caesar salad and calamari to start, my wife and son are really fussy about calamari and loved it here. As noted we had a turkey dinner and a filet/frites and deserts and everything was excellent. Bottom line? We would have eaten here every night if we had not had other commitments.

I travel monthly on business to Hood River and finally slowed down enough to enjoy lunch in town while I was there, which I never do. The food and service were both outstanding. It was mid-week and the restaurant was almost empty but that did not change the quality of food or service, and that I appreciate! What ruined the experience was the $28 parking ticket on my car when I left. When I first parked at the meter, I got out of my car in the pouring rain to look at which app I needed to pay on. I’ve only used Parking Kitty in the past, so this was a new one. I looked at the zone number and headed inside the restaurant to download and pay, since I didn’t want to get soaking wet. . It took about 4 minutes. I was shocked when I found a ticket on my car exactly four minutes prior to the start time of my meter. WTF? Is this city serious? Do the meter maids work on commission? He or she must have been watching me park, I was easy to spot since all the meters where open and I was the only car around. What a shame. That $28 ticket is the last of my money the city of Hood River will ever get from me. It’s too bad because I would go to this restaurant again however, it’s clear the city doesn’t welcome anyone who doesn’t already have their parking apps on their phones.

So I was feeling really smug that the Cajun Seafood and Andouille Sausage Pasta I ordered for dinner was the best choice until my partner let me taste her Hazelnut Crusted Fried Chicken. Wow, what a delicious bite. But who can regret an evening spent on the deck, enjoying some of the absolute best views in Hood River, surrounded by stunning mountains and scenery? To make it even more special the deck is pet friendly, so our pups got to share the evening with us. Our 6-month-old terrier was especially excited to be seated right next to the entry steps, so that he could meet and greet every single person coming and going. One of our favorite evenings on a 3,000 mile road trip.

We were looking for a great place to have dinner with a group of 10 and stumbled upon Three Rivers Cafe. Reservations we easy to make and we were glad we made them since the place was very busy upon our arrival. We were seated on a large deck that offered shade in the late afternoon. The view to the river is partially obstructed but still a lovely view. Parking in the area can be a bit difficult and parking is metered on week days. We ordered a large variety of dishes and were happy with everything we ordered. Would gladly return next time we are in the area.

Twice within a week! The first meal out after COVID lock down! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the patio and then came back and brought our son with us. Food choices included curry chicken salad, fish wrap, Thai chicken salad and fish and chips. All were good and it would be difficult to recommend one over the other. Service was great. Glad we came!

Good food and an interesting main course. It had been a number of years since we’ve eaten here. We really enjoyed their expanded out door seating area (no indoor seating during this time) and felt fairly comfortable. We ordered two appetizers, crab & shrimp cakes as well as the beet salad. All were good and good sized portions. We shared the lime tequila shrimp pasta that had a large number of shrimp tasty vegetables and an unusual pasta. Really tasty. The glass of wine was really the only disappointing item. Just understand that the prices are bit more expensive than other places.

Looking for an inside or outside table with an awesome view? Check. Looking for amazing cocktails, beer or wine? Check. Looking for delicious food and attentive service? Check. It doesn't matter if you are dining there or picking up, Three Rivers Grill checks all the boxes. My husband and I are Hood River locals, as of the past 13 years. For the previous three weeks we have dined with Three Rivers Grill once a week. (It is unusual for us to frequent a specific restaurant this often for three weeks in a row.) The first week we ordered takeout of two Caesar Salads (Crisp romaine lettuce tossed in house-made dressing and topped with parmesan cheese and house-made croutons) with Grilled Shrimp. Delish! The second week, the same takeout order of two Caesar Salads with Grilled Shrimp. Delish! The third week we dined in at Three Rivers Grill and my husband again had the Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp, but I had that night's special; Pecan-Crusted Rainbow Trout with Apple Bourbon Honey Maple Glaze, mashed potato and fall vegetable. Amazing! Looking for a Hood River restaurant that checks all the boxes? Look no further than Three Rivers Grill.

Good food, good drinks and a good view of the Gorge. Both inside and outside seating. Efficient and witty waitstaff. Great margaritas. Their Manhattan could use a Luxardo, but the booze was good. Excellent fresh Chinook salmon. Their take on vegetable Napoleon replaces the puff pastry with zucchini, with a delicious result. All washed down with a dry rose recommended by our waiter as the sun set slowly on the Washington side.

The food was good, it was not great. The esthetics were good, but not great. The menu was good, but not great because there was a charge for everything extra. One leg of my chair was falling off so it obviously needed to be switched. The staff should have noticed that before any customer actually sat down on it. The table service was excellent. The parking was awful as it was on the side of a steep hill that matched the steep meal prices. Taking it all in makes it an average experience.

We visited 3 River's Grill for our 48th wedding anniversary. Rose made sure we had a great table and served our excellent hazelnut chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables done to perfection. Kudos to the chef! Our dessert was shared. We enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter mousse cake. It was delicious! From the time we entered the door our experience was superb! White tablecloths and all! And we felt the price was reasonable. Thank you so much, 3 River's Grill, for a fantastic experience on our 48th! We will definitely return. If you haven't experienced it, don't miss 3 River's Grill!!
